Andrey Vladimirovich Ross received his higher education at the MMA named after. I. M. Sechenov (Faculty of Medicine). From 1991 to 2000, he continued his studies abroad, received specializations in cardiac and plastic surgery, and also completed numerous internships in these areas in Israel and the USA. Since 2002 he has been working in Russia.
Since 1992, he regularly participates in professional events related to plastic surgery, incl. as a speaker, and also maintains contact and exchanges experience with colleagues from Europe and America. One of the main activities of Dr. Ross is the search, improvement and active use of minimally invasive techniques to reduce the traumatic nature of operations and the duration of the rehabilitation period.
Currently, plastic surgeon Andrei Vladimirovich Ross accepts patients in his own “Doctor Ross Clinic” (“RossClinic”). Plastic surgeon Andrey Ross opened a clinic in Moscow
Moscow plastic surgeon Andrei Ross, who left the clinic under the Ross Clinic brand in July 2015 after a corporate scandal, opened his own center for aesthetic medicine, Ross Medical Group.
A corporate scandal in one of the capital’s largest aesthetic surgery clinics, Ross Clinic (according to the Vademecum analytical center, about a thousand operations were performed there in 2014), broke out in the summer of 2015.
On June 7, security officers at Medestetika LLC (Ross Clinic Management Company) unexpectedly refused to allow the chief physician and co-owner of the business, plastic surgeon Andrei Ross, and his partner, surgeon Olga Nosova, into the clinic building on Udaltsova Street. The corresponding order was signed by Vladimir Bayrak, general director of Medestetika LLC and ICT Estate CJSC. The next day, Ross and Nosova were fired for absenteeism. At the same time, personal belongings and equipment of the surgeons remained in the clinic.
Then, in order not to disrupt planned operations, Ross agreed with the management of another Moscow aesthetic clinic, Beauty Trend, to rent operating rooms and transfer planned patients. Almost the entire Ross Clinic team, about ten people - surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and managers, moved to the new site with the surgeon. Andrey Ross filed complaints against his partner at the Ross Clinic, founder Sergei Tsukanov, with the prosecutor’s office and the police. The surgeon claimed that the partner embezzled his property and violated the labor rights of clinic employees.
At the end of October 2015, Andrey Ross and his partner Olga Nosova founded Ross Medical Group (Medical Group LLC). Shares in the authorized capital were distributed in the amount of 70% and 30%, respectively. Ross Medical Group operates on the basis of three existing clinics - BeautyTrend, El En Clinic and OAO Meditsina. Andrey Ross is the project manager. “This format of work - at three different sites - was chosen during the search for premises for a full-fledged clinic and allows us to maintain the volume of operations, as well as provide patients with an appropriate level of service. We are currently considering several objects, but have not made a final decision yet. We will not involve third-party investors in renting and equipping the clinic,” Olga Nosova explained to Vademecum.
Ross Clinic retained the name and continues to operate. The “face” of the clinic and the chief physician is now plastic surgeon Orlando Salas Moreno. The conflict with former partners at Ross Clinic, according to Olga Nosova, has not yet been completed. No one returned the property to the surgeons, and law enforcement officials did not initiate a case, recommending that the applicants go to court.
