I came to Dobrekin from another city to have Rhino and labiaplasty done on the recommendations of friends. Regarding Rino, there is still a preliminary assessment, 4 months have passed, and the nose is in principle satisfactory, but there is a feeling that the back is too narrow relative to the wings of the nose. But for now I am worried about something else...... regarding labiaplasty (reduction of the labia minora), everything was clear already in the first day, despite the swelling and hemotomies. They didn’t do plastic surgery, they simply amputated my lips, at the root. What was left was 0.3 cm on one side and 0 cm on the other. We conducted the consultation via Viber. And in person The main discussion was about rhinoplasty. There were a few words about labiaplasty. I thought that immediately before the operation we would make markings and discuss the nuances. It was my first time undergoing plastic surgery, so I was very nervous. In the morning, when I changed clothes and was invited to the operating room. I caught the doctor in the corridor and asked, should we discuss labiaplasty or not? To which he answered me: everything is clear, we’ll reduce it like everyone else. I was in such a confused state that the only thing I told him was, please don’t remove too much!!!! I want to reduce my lips by only 1-1.5 cm... Those that protrude beyond the labia majora. He said: good. How do I regret that day???? this feeling of hopelessness and irreversible consequences, as well as a feeling of inferiority and ugliness will probably haunt me all my life... why didn’t I refuse this operation at that moment..!??!..????? Doctor Dobrekinu decided on his own that my lips were too big and removed them at the root. Do not pay attention to the fact that the clitoris also corresponds to the size of the lips. I will say that I was not embarrassed by my size, I just wanted to remove the cm that caused discomfort when riding a bicycle or wearing lace underwear. As a result, there is a separately protruding clitoris, with asymmetrical square edges, and just a hole below. After the operation, after recovering from anesthesia, the first thing I did was check what I had there..... And I immediately realized that there was nothing, it was empty. I fell into terrible depression and despair. I consulted with many specialists from Moscow. And they all unanimously said that the operation was not done well, the technology was not followed, personal characteristics were not taken into account, that my lips were simply amputated and that’s all. I tried to contact Dr. Dobreikin several times to find out the situation. To which he bombarded me with theories (which I had read up to my eyeballs even without him) about how to do labiaplasty correctly. That he did everything right, yes, he agreed that the clitoris was sticking out apart. But this is only because my anatomy is like this, and not because my lips were cut off at the root, for some reason it didn’t stick out before... Dobreikin was not interested in my wishes either before or after the operation. He did not admit his guilt, did not even apologize. But I was left with a huge complex, a feeling of inferiority. This is the doctor Dobreikin... If you could turn back time... get to him... never, never???? very, very sorry. and it hurts

Plastic surgeon Evgeniy Dobreikin

Evgeniy Dobreikin is 27 years old, but this does not prevent him from rightfully being considered one of the most promising specialists in the field of aesthetic medicine. Only in the last 3 years, Evgeniy managed to undergo training and internship in the most famous clinics in France and Israel, as well as participate in the III National Congress “Plastic Surgery” (Moscow). In his interview, the plastic surgeon talks about the features of male plastic surgery, the unusual requirements of male patients and the main trends in modern intimate plastic surgery.

One of the patients was 64 years old when he came for a facelift. Another one is 60, but he came for intimate plastic surgery

Corr.: Evgeniy Alekseevich, is it true that in recent years the number of male patients has almost tripled?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: Yes, if previously it was impossible to drag a man into a plastic surgeon’s office, today the situation has changed radically.

Corr.: What services are in greatest demand among the stronger sex?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: Believe it or not, liposuction is extremely popular among men, especially on the eve of the beach season. This is followed by anti-aging procedures, rhinoplasty, otoplasty and, of course, intimate plastic surgery.

Corr.: They say that now with the help of plastic surgery you can create the so-called “cubes” of the press. Is it true? And how many of your patients come to you with similar requests?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: Such an operation does exist, but in Russia it is not as widespread as abroad. Still, the number of obese people in our country is not so huge, and, in addition, our men prefer to increase volume in the area of the buttocks and legs. All these operations are very complex. They are made using special implants.

Corr.: What can you say about liposuction? Does this surgery really help you lose weight?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: Liposuction has completely different goals. Doctors recommend it for silhouette correction, and not as a way to lose weight. If a person has local fat deposits, then this operation is suitable for him. Moreover, I would recommend laser or water-jet liposuction - these methods are more gentle than traditional liposuction. But if we are talking about large volumes of fatty tissue, then I would recommend classic liposuction. With its help you can remove almost any fat deposits.

After liposuction, fat does not accumulate or move to other places.

Corr.: How long do the results of liposuction last?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: Everything here depends, first of all, on the patient’s lifestyle. If a person leads an active lifestyle and adheres to a strict diet, then he is unlikely to need repeated liposuction. Fat does not accumulate again, does not move to other places - all these are idle fictions that have no scientific basis. Of course, the patient may be recommended the most gentle method. In such cases, liposuction is carried out in several stages, with intervals from six months to several years.

Corr.: It turns out that doctors “add” the patient to liposuction sessions. And often do your colleagues resort to such tricks?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: If we are talking about surgical intervention, then no, because any operation is a huge risk and a heavy burden for the body. No one will risk the patient's health. A good plastic surgeon does his best to reduce the threat to the patient’s life to a minimum.

Corr.: Tell us about modern anti-aging surgeries. How effective are they?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: It all depends on the goals pursued by the patient and on his desire to change his appearance. At a certain age, an eyelid lift is enough to look 5-10 years younger. If the patient wants to look 15 years younger, then we will talk about a more complex operation.

Corr.: They say that nowadays only young, attractive people can achieve success at work. Do you share this opinion?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: I think the key role in such issues is played by the patient’s occupation. If you work with people, then yes, appearance matters a lot. It’s not even a matter of attractiveness, but the ability to keep up with the times, the ability to save face, and therefore, authority. On the other hand, I know many doctors who continue to operate beyond the age of 60, yet patients and colleagues treat them with great respect and pay little attention to the surgeon’s appearance.

When I see an adequate patient in front of me who knows for sure that he needs this operation, I try not to ask unnecessary questions!

Corr.: What is the maximum age of your patients?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: One of the patients was 64 years old when he came for a facelift. Another one is 60, but he came for intimate plastic surgery.

Corr.: An unusual operation for this age. What prompted him to contact you?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: You know, when I see an adequate patient in front of me who knows for sure that he needs this operation, I try not to ask unnecessary questions. Of course, it may seem that intimate plastic surgery is something exotic. In fact, almost a third of my patients come for it, and the reasons are very different: from sexual dissatisfaction to some kind of personal complexes.

Corr.: They talked about intimate plastic surgery back in Soviet times. How has this area of medicine changed in recent years?

Evgeniy Dobreikin: It has changed and very much! Today we have tools and equipment that Soviet surgeons could not even dream of. At the same time, intimate plastic surgery continues to develop and does not stand still. The main difference between modern technologies and Soviet techniques is that in those days attention was paid mainly to reconstructive surgery. There was no talk about aesthetics. What we are seeing today is a real breakthrough. Just a few years ago, no one could have imagined that non-surgical intimate plastic surgery would become possible, but now we are performing it using lipofilling, through the smallest punctures. And I am sure that these technologies will only develop in the future!
