It took some time to wait for the doctor, but by 11 the examination was completed and a diagnosis was made that required emergency surgery. I understand that these words can mean the duration of the operation itself, and preparing for it and completing all the documentation also takes some time, but still the scale of the wait and stay in the clinic was approximately clear. We agreed.
Registration for hospitalization has begun. We spent more than two hours in the emergency room alone. Covid tests, tests, examination by a therapist - everything is very leisurely. Closer to two o'clock in the afternoon, my wife was finally taken to the department, and I left to get money to pay the balance after the prepayment was made. Returning to the clinic about two hours later, I find out that the operation has not even begun yet, because... the operating room is “still busy and it is unknown when it will be free”, and the patient, my wife, who was admitted with pain, was not even anesthetized and she lies in the ward, writhing in pain, repeatedly asks to call her attending physician, and each time receives excuses from the nurse like “the doctor said , that you can’t take painkillers” and “the doctor said that the operating room is still busy”! As a result, they deigned to give us a painkiller injection at 17:00 in the evening - about 7 hours of waiting! I wonder what the standard of patient anesthesia of 2 hours from the moment of admission thinks about this?
The operation began at 19:00, and they “released” us from the clinic after ten in the evening. Twelve hours is no longer 15 minutes with any adjustments.
My friends! If we wanted to lie in hellish torment for several hours without a shadow of attention from the medical staff, we would immediately go to some free hospital. The level of medical care that we received is unacceptable even for the torture department of the veterinary clinic in Nizhny Zadrypansk, let alone a clinic that calls itself “premium.”
But this is not even the end - in addition to the basic, absolutely unacceptable attitude towards the patient, we were faced with a large number of “minor” shortcomings: the amount of treatment quoted before the operation turned out to be significantly lower than the final one; it was impossible to see the test results for more than two weeks due to the fact that one of the employees simply did not enter them into the database (according to your operator); Now we have to undergo repeat surgery because of the polyp that remained with you after the operation.
