Eyelash lamination and botox are among the top popular procedures for working with natural hairs, without artificial fiber extensions. The procedures are largely similar according to a number of criteria:
- which eyelashes are most suitable;
- for what occasions are they intended?
- in what order the process is carried out step by step;
- what effect does it visually give on eyelashes?
But there is a significant difference between these two services for natural eyelashes. What is the difference between eyelash Botox and lamination, how to combine the two procedures, why do it, how long the effect lasts - we will analyze it in detail in this material. It will be useful for clients and professionals to know the important nuances of the difference.
What it is?
Botox involves a procedure in which a special solution is applied to the eyelashes. It contains the following components:
- Hyaluronic acid.
- Vitamins A, E, B, R.
- Vegetable oils.
- Panthenol.
The effect of the drug has nothing in common with the usual Botox. It is not injected anywhere or administered as an injection. The procedure has no consequences in the form of swelling and other inconveniences caused by surgery. The drug must be tested and have all relevant certificates. You don’t have to worry about safety, because even about botulinum toxin, 1nep.ru says that “many doctors will agree that aspirin and antibiotics are much more dangerous than Botox.”
The Botox procedure for eyelashes improves the structure of eyelashes, protects against environmental consequences , prolongs the life of hairs, preventing their fragility, and also stimulates eyelash bulbs to grow. It used to be that beauties applied burdock oil in a thick layer at night. Let's be honest, this was of little use.
It is important that all components of the life-giving serum “adhere” with each other and penetrate deep into the structure. And only special substances and vitamins can stimulate the bulb to grow.
Lamination is the coating of hair with a protective composition, the active component of which is keratin. It envelops eyelashes and protects from damage. At the same time, the composition makes the eyelashes smooth and shiny. Hair takes on a well-groomed appearance and is less susceptible to aggressive substances - makeup removers, decorative cosmetics and the rest.
Why does it make sense to combine lamination with Botox?
Despite all the differences, Botox and lamination get along well with each other. Even more, they resemble two halves of a puzzle, perfectly aligned with their connectors and grooves. What Botox cannot do, lamination will make up for, and vice versa. Therefore, for those who want to provide their eyelashes with comprehensive care, the logical solution would be to first supply them with substances important for nutrition, and then seal them from negative environmental factors. Simple and effective.
Efficiency when carrying out simultaneous procedures
Another argument in favor of the merger: it is more profitable from a financial point of view. The cost of two procedures is about 3,500 rubles, and separately, lamination - 2,500 rubles, Botox - 3,000 rubles.
What is the difference and what is better to choose?
Note that lamination and Botox for eyelashes are similar . The basic stages and sequence of working with hair are similar, the external result that clients observe is similar, but there are also differences. Let's find out what is the difference between these procedures:
duration of the procedure | compound | restrictions on the first day after the procedure | result | price | |
lamination | 45-60 minutes | contains keratin, plant extracts, vitamins | For 24 hours, you should not apply makeup, allow temperature changes (do not visit the bathhouse, sauna), wash your face or wet your face. | creates an impenetrable protective film on the surface of the hairs | more affordable procedure |
botox | up to 120 minutes | contains hyaluronic acid, keratin, collagen, panthenol, vitamin E, argan oil | no restrictions | eyelashes remain open for oxygen and nutrients to penetrate | the cost is higher due to the expensive composition |
Reference! Due to the formation of an outer film on the hairs, lamination provides a more noticeable external effect - eyelashes look thicker and longer.
However, if you tint your eyelashes, the result will fade away faster - in the process of removing makeup, the outer protective coating of the eyelashes is damaged faster.
This does not happen with Botox because the eyelashes remain open.
Of course, visually the eyes may not receive such a lush frame as in the case of lamination, but it is believed that such a procedure is less traumatic for the eyelash row - the effect of Botox is cumulative , the eyelashes will improve their external qualities and grow better.
Another advantage of this procedure is that the open, permeable surface allows you to use care products and saturate the hairs with nutrients. Some manufacturers offer clients special conditioners to maintain the quality of eyelashes after the procedure.
Assessing the effectiveness of the procedure depends on what interests the client.
- Is the external result more important? It is better to prefer lamination and try not to actively use mascara.
- Are you interested in improving the quality of eyelashes with a good visual effect? Choose Botox - the hairs will accumulate useful components, while makeup will not affect the duration of the result from procedure to procedure.
Eyelash Botox is an innovative line of care that promotes the complete restoration of hair structure and has nothing to do with injections. More recently, another technology for influencing the hair follicle has appeared - corduroy. Read more about these procedures, as well as which one is better, on our online portal.
Eyelash care after Botox and lamination
During the first day after the procedure, eyelashes may remain unpresentable, and the skin of the eyelids may appear irritated. At this time it is important:
- do not rub your eyes;
- do not use cosmetics;
- do not wash your face (water can damage the thin lamination film);
- Do not expose your face to direct sunlight, steam, or humid hot air (bath, sauna).
Often after the procedure, the specialist offers to buy a special conditioner that will allow you to wash your face and remove makeup in the most gentle way for eyelashes. Using it you will increase the duration of the effect.
How long do eyelashes remain beautiful?
Complete renewal of the hairs on the ciliary edge is completed within 3-4 months. But by this time you will no longer notice external manifestations from the procedures - you will simply see new eyelashes, your natural color, volume and length. Plan a return visit to the salon within 5-6 weeks after your previous lamination or Botox. During this time, the eyelashes will have time to rest from the intervention, but the external effect will still remain to some extent.
Attention! Some masters recommend that new clients undergo an initial course of procedures with a short break of 3-4 weeks in order to achieve a lasting improvement in the external quality of eyelashes.
After the lamination procedure, it is important to spend the first day correctly , during which you should not wet your eyelashes or expose them to temperature changes. In this regard, you cannot apply or wash off makeup, wash your face, irrigate your face, or visit the bathhouse, sauna or swimming pool. Eyelashes coated with the composition have a rigid structure.
After 24 hours you can wash your face. The eyelashes will fluff up and straighten, and you can evaluate the final result. After applying Botox there are no such restrictions. Lamination provides the best external effect and hair protection, and Botox works in the cuticle, nourishing the hair shaft with useful substances.
What is Lash Botox Vivienne
Eyelash Botox from Vivienne looks like a set of one 10 ml ampoule with emulsion, a 3 ml syringe and two spare needles for it. A 10 ml ampoule is enough for about 80-100 procedures. This product increases thickness by thickening them with a strong structure, plus stimulating the work of hair follicles, softening and intensively moisturizing eyelashes. And thanks to this, a new expression “eyelash extensions with Botox” has appeared, which expresses the essence of the external changes taking place.

Who is indicated for eyelash botox?
Firstly, for those women who regularly use mascara. As a result, hair becomes discolored over time, weakens, becomes sparse and thin. But one of the weapons of femininity is large, fluffy, expressive eyelashes. Basically, women with sparse, thin hairline use mascara to increase volume. But such makeup in itself is too heavy, and with regular use it worsens the situation even more. It is for such cases that Botox treatment for eyelashes was invented.
What effect does it give?
It often happens that before the procedure, eyelashes look thin and invisible; they require constant coloring, the use of mascara and curling irons. Such eyelashes often fall out from a large amount of makeup and thermal effects. Over time, they stop growing and “bald spots” appear, which do not decorate the eyes at all.
After the “Botox plus lamination” procedure, the eyelashes become silkier , acquire a curve, and the color with additional coloring becomes rich and does not wash off for a long time. With the right effect, you don’t need to use mascara and paint over each eyelash - they will be separated and curved.
Indications and contraindications
The indications are similar: both services are intended for straight, downward growing, thin eyelashes. If the hairs are too short, light, and unnoticeable, then you can safely go to the specialist for one of the procedures for natural eyelashes. They especially help out those who for some reason do not like extensions. You don’t have to waste time on daily makeup, and the girl looks beautiful at any time of the day for a whole month or more.
Contraindications for both services include recent eye surgeries, infectious eye diseases, and individual allergies. Pregnancy is not a contraindication, but due to hormonal changes it cannot be guaranteed that the formulations will work and the curl will be taken securely.

In the photos presented to your attention, you can see the eyelashes before and after the procedure.
Advantages and disadvantages
Botox and lamination have their pros and cons. Girls won't have to limit themselves. They can continue to lead an active lifestyle. Allowed to visit the pool, sauna, and swim in the sea. In addition, there are no restrictions on the use of cosmetics. The use of mascara is not excluded. Treatment of eyelashes with compounds is safe and painless.
The disadvantages of the procedure include:
- After lamination, it is not allowed to wet the hairs for 12 hours.
- The effect of Botox disappears after 2 weeks in women taking hormonal medications.
- The girl is not allowed to go to the bathhouse or swimming pool for 2 days.
- The hairs that grow later will be different from the laminated ones.
- There is a risk of developing allergies and vision problems (if recommendations are not followed).
Sometimes people develop intolerance to certain components of the composition. In addition, after lamination, the hairs remain stuck together. They “reveal” a little later.
After cosmetic procedures, girls need to follow the rules of care. This will help them prolong the effect of lush and healthy eyelashes without encountering unpleasant consequences. Masters advise gently combing your hair every morning, giving it a well-groomed appearance. To do this you need to use a special brush.
Eyelash care rules:
- Wash with soft foam.
- You cannot touch your face or rub your eyes.
- You can't sleep with your face on the pillow.
- Do not use creams around the eyes.
- Do not remove makeup with alcohol products.
- Do not use curling irons.
- Take vitamins A and B orally.
- After washing, comb your hair with a brush.
You need to stop using cosmetics containing oils. If a girl plans to tint her eyelashes, then she needs to buy natural mascara. There are products on sale with natural ingredients. They nourish hairs with useful substances. The mascara is washed off with a cotton pad from top to bottom. For additional care, it is recommended to use growth serum.
If you do not follow the recommendations, your eyelashes will quickly straighten. The effectiveness of the composition is enhanced by air conditioners. They are bought at a beauty salon. It’s worth reading the reviews first so as not to provoke an allergy. With proper care, eyelashes will remain beautiful, curled and lush for several weeks.
How is it done in the salon and how much does it cost?
Lamination and Botox in a complex procedure are done by a master cosmetologist in the salon:
- First, he degreases the eyelashes.
- Applies special Botox compounds.
- Then he lets them dry.
- Covers eyelashes with a coloring emulsion.
- Then it “seals” the result using the lamination procedure.
Important! Sometimes they do it in the reverse order, it all depends on the master and the approach. But there is no fundamental difference in the order.
The cost of the service may depend on:
- quality of the material (read about the composition and use of materials for eyelash Botox here);
- experience and regalia of the master;
- additional services;
- salon's eminence and many other factors.
On average, in Moscow, the cost of a procedure for a master starts from 5 thousand rubles ; it happens that beginners get their hands on free procedures. This can be dangerous for your eyelashes, but if you are not afraid to take risks, you can try “free” perming and lamination.
In St. Petersburg the price is approximately the same as in Moscow. Such trips will cost 5-6 thousand rubles for a complex procedure.
How the history of procedures has changed
Lamination and coloring appeared earlier than eyelash Botox. The procedure logically arose as the next evolutionary step after biowave. The primary task of lamination is to give natural eyelashes a raised, spectacular, elegant curl. It is designed for straight, downward growing hairs.
Initially, Botox was often used in combination with biowaves, or as an independent procedure. But in the first option, the damage to the hairs from the bioperm compositions was hardly compensated by the care properties of Botox, they were too aggressive, with a harsh effect. But as an independent care service, the effect did not last long: the eyelashes became dense, thickened, and shiny for only 2-3 days.
That was until the masters started doing eyelash lamination and botox at the same time. Today, Lash Botox Elixir is an additional step in the lamination procedure. It adds a caring effect, better seals the hair, makes it thicker, and fills the damaged internal structure. And a thin laminating film after the third lami composition seals the healing restorative components inside the hair for 6-8 weeks - as long as the lamination effect lasts.
Demand is growing, because the master does not resort to using artificial fiber, and the look is transformed. Many clients do not like extensions because they feel something foreign on their eyelids; this problem is completely solved by procedures for natural eyelashes.
Step-by-step instruction
Preliminary stage:
If the procedure is done in a salon, the client will be asked to lie on a special comfortable sofa or chair, but in a horizontal position.- Then hydrogel-based plasters or patches are applied under the eyes, and only then special curlers are applied to curl the eyelashes.
Main stage:
- Degreasing eyelashes. Eyelash cleansing is carried out with a special solution that removes excess dirt, cleanses the eyelashes, making them clean and ready to absorb beneficial substances. This stage lasts only a couple of minutes.
- A composition that penetrates the structure. The application of a “revealing” composition includes a chemical substance that penetrates the structure of the hairs and opens their scales. The rod becomes sensitive and the eyelashes straighten, attaching to parts of the hydrogel patches. At this stage, a kind of “compress” is applied - the eyes are covered with a special film, and a heated towel or warm cotton pads are placed on top of it. The patient will have to spend about 10 minutes in this position.
- Lamination.
This is the application of keratin, which nourishes the eyelashes, making them look healthy. Leave this composition on the eyelashes for about 7 minutes. Note! The lamination effect lasts from three to 5 weeks. Cosmo claims that the results last for 2 months. During this time, the eyelashes have time to renew themselves, old hairs fall out and new ones grow in their place. - Painting. After removing the keratin, it’s time to apply coloring pigment to the eyelashes. This stage must be maintained for up to 10 minutes.
- Botox. The final stage, which is produced using a special composition containing a number of useful substances. Use a cotton swab to remove excess paint and other elements. Then a gel is applied to the eyelashes, which helps fix the result and protects the hairs (you can learn about the nuances of this procedure, as well as see before and after photos, here).
How is the lamination procedure carried out?
The effect of the lamination procedure is almost identical to the effect of extensions. In conditions where women of many professions, including models, are strictly prohibited from having eyelash extensions, lamination is not contraindicated. Let’s describe the technique itself to make it clear that the question “what is the difference between Botox and eyelash lamination” is fundamentally incorrect.
Most popular: How to deal with gravitational ptosis on the face and chin At the very beginning of lamination, the lower eyelids are covered with protective pads made of thin hydrogel plates. After this, the top row of hair is degreased. Afterwards, special silicone curlers are installed on the upper eyelid. Curlers are selected according to size, of which there are three:
- S - small;
- M - average;
- L - large.
The curl should look natural, soft and smooth, so it is better to choose a larger curler size. After glue is applied to the curlers, the eyelashes are pressed onto the curlers with a separate tool and glued.
The artist must carefully distribute the eyelashes so that they are directed to the outer corners of the eye and do not cross anywhere. All products used at this stage are absolutely colorless and without strong odors, hypoallergenic. Bioactive components have a gentle effect on natural eyelashes and nourish them during curling.
To treat the root zone during curling, a nourishing agent is applied along the edge of the eyelash row, which penetrates deep into the hair follicles. This composition is aged for 8-12 minutes. To enhance the effect, the eyes are provided with a SPA effect of a warm compress, that is, first a plastic film is applied to the eyes, then cotton pads, and a warm towel is placed on top.
The next stage is eyelash coloring
While the nutritional composition is in effect, the master prepares the coloring agent. Usually one of four shades is selected, as close as possible to the natural hair color. At the same time, black and blue-black colors are used exclusively for eyelashes, while brown and graphite can also be used for coloring eyebrows.
A composition consisting of an oxidizing agent and a dye should not be kept in the mixture for more than 10 minutes. The unique composition of the dye cannot be replaced by anything else, since it is activated by exactly the same unique form of the oxidizing agent. Also, the composition usually contains healing castor oil in its formula.
Once the time of exposure of the first nourishing product (lifting) has expired, its remnants are carefully removed with a dry micro-brush, using movements from the roots to the ends of the hair. Then a fixative is applied along the entire length. Its exposure time is two times less than the lifting exposure time.
Then the remnants of the fixative are removed from the eyelashes along their entire length in the same way, using a dry microbrush. Afterwards the coloring composition is applied. It is applied not just by spreading it, but as if driving it inside the eyelashes. The duration of dyeing depends on the desired color.
Finally, an oily solution is passed over the colored eyelashes, which penetrates deeply into the hairs, improving their structure and giving them strength. And it is lash botox for eyelashes that is recognized as the best of these compositions. During this treatment, the hair easily comes away from the glue and curlers. When all the eyelashes have come off, they are combed with a plastic brush.
As a result, eyelashes become 30% thicker and longer, acquiring a noble curl. And the best part is that the procedure has a cumulative effect, so the second and subsequent sessions add another 10% to the thickness and length. To make your eyelashes one and a half times longer and thicker, you will need only three procedures at intervals of 4-6 weeks.
Most popular: Wow effect and youthful appearance for a penny with a peeling roll
Result
- Botox applied to eyelashes with lamination looks much more impressive.
- The eyelashes are covered with a protective film and retain nutrients.
- Due to hyaluronic acid, they are moisturized, nourished, thickened and protected from sunlight.
- If the composition contains argan oil, then when dyeing the eyelashes become darker and more shiny.
The effect lasts up to 6 weeks, but in no case three months, as marketers who promote this procedure claim.
Video: Eyelash lamination and botox - expert advice
Can lamination and Botox restore beauty to thin, sparse, weak eyelashes? If it's a lack of care, vitamins or moisture, then yes. However, all the efforts of a lash maker may be in vain when the condition of hair, eyebrows and eyelashes leaves much to be desired due to disorders in the body. Do you feel like you may need serious recovery or even treatment? Visit a trichologist, he will help you create the right health program, one of the steps of which may include lamination with Botox.
Who are they recommended for?
Lamination is suitable for clients who:
- They want more expressive external volume, curl and color.
- Occasionally use mascara or go without makeup.
Attention! Lamination will work well on eyelashes that grow downward, do not have a natural bend (straight), and grow inward.
Botox is preferred for clients who:
- want to improve the condition of the eyelashes (quality of the hair shaft - elasticity, strength, fullness);
- actively use makeup;
- do not chase a strong external effect after the procedure;
- do not spend a lot of time in conditions of high humidity (on the beach, in the pool or sauna) - this contributes to the leaching of the composition.
Contraindications for the procedures are similar:
- Allergy to components of the compositions.
- Operations on the eyes.
- Eye injuries.
- Inflammatory process of the organs of vision.
- Increased tear production.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Taking hormonal contraceptives.
- Climax.
Contraindications to the use of procedures
Procedures should be avoided during the menstrual cycle. It is not worth doing eyelash extensions after lamination, as the product will not stick. Also, certain symptoms and conditions of the body serve as reasons for refusal:
- increased tearfulness (with tears, a chemical can get on the mucous membrane, which will cause a burn);
- conjunctivitis and other eye diseases that require medical intervention, and then the procedure can be done;
- pregnancy, lactation;
- eyelashes that are too short after the procedure have an unaesthetic appearance;
- during the period of climatic restructuring of the body;
- when taking hormonal contraceptives;
- recent eye surgery;
- allergic reaction.
If you are prone to allergies, it is necessary to conduct a test. You need to apply a small amount of the drug on the inside of your wrist. If skin irritation occurs, then to improve the appearance you should choose another method.
Kits with necessary materials
The professional kit includes chemical compounds and auxiliary tools .
As a rule, manufacturers offer two configurations. Starter kits contain serums, dyes and basic tools. Good for a novice master: there will be enough materials for 2-3 procedures, the compositions will not have time to deteriorate. However, the starter kit does not contain wipes, an applicator, combs, makeup removers, adhesive tapes, rollers, or conditioners. The basic kit will provide the specialist with all the ingredients and tools.
The kits are sold through official representatives of the brands in Moscow and St. Petersburg and in professional stores for lash makers. Cosmetology sites offer a large selection of materials .

Lamination of eyelashes
This service originally appeared in the hairdressing industry, but over time, women began to laminate not only their hair, but also their eyelashes.
The composition of the applied drug includes keratin, a protein that is the main building material of hair, nails and dermis. Getting into the hair structure, the protein fills microcracks, due to which the eyelashes visually lengthen and acquire a slight bend. Lamination is especially in demand among those with thin and weak eyelashes. The procedure is in great demand in the summer, when you don’t want to apply makeup in the morning. For a quality service, you should contact a specialist who has undergone specialized training and has the appropriate certificates.
- Compound
The drug used to laminate eyelashes contains not only keratin, but also plant extracts and nourishing oils. They restore thinning hairs and create a protective layer on them.
One of the products most in demand among lash makers is the Yumi Lashes brand. This is a safe laminating product that has repeatedly proven its effectiveness in practice. The composition nourishes and lengthens eyelashes, giving them an expressive curl.
Another popular brand is Paul Mitchell. A harmless preparation based on natural plant components (chamomile, hops, yarrow) has a gentle effect on hairs, strengthening and nourishing them with moisture.
Another product worth noting is Nover Lash Up. The composition is suitable for both modeling and restoring eyelashes.

- Features of the procedure
The eyelash lamination process lasts from one and a half to two hours, is completely painless and does not cause any discomfort. The lamination of eyelashes itself occurs as follows.
- Anatomical patches (pads), vinyl or hydrogel, are placed on the lower eyelids, which protect the skin from contact with products and staining.
- Special silicone rollers are applied to the upper eyelids, the shape of which will be repeated by the eyelashes. With smooth, careful movements, the master combs the hairs and distributes them over the surface of the roller.
- Then the preparations for lamination are applied in a certain sequence: softener liquid, fixative, nourishing oil. You can add eyelash tint during the process. Then the need for daily use of mascara disappears for some time.
Since at the final stage the lash maker applies an oily solution enriched with vitamins, the first day the hairs will look thin and sticky (which does not happen with Botox). For 12-24 hours, do not wash your eyes, remove the composition, separate or comb the eyelash row. The next day, when the oil is washed off, the eyelashes will fluff up and gain volume, and the look will become more expressive.
The effect of lamination lasts for two to three months. The composition is gradually washed off, so additional correction is not required. Experts recommend doing the procedure once every 4-6 months, but many women laminate their eyelashes much more often.
- Contraindications
There are situations in which lamination is undesirable and even harmful. You should not laminate eyelashes if:
- You have recently had eye or eyelid surgery. Any ophthalmological intervention requires recovery time.
- There are symptoms of inflammation or bacterial infection of the eyes or skin of the eyelids - blepharitis, conjunctivitis, etc.
- You have individual intolerance to the components, allergies.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding. Hormonal changes can give unpredictable results, and the compounds used can negatively affect the condition of the mother and unborn child.
- The eyelashes are too short or have not recovered after extensions, which should also not be done immediately after lamination.
- Advantages and disadvantages
The lamination procedure does not limit a woman in any way, so she can fully lead her lifestyle: visit the sauna and pool, swim in salt water, wash with any cosmetics, apply face cream, use mascara. However, it is worth remembering that makeup removal should be done with light, gentle movements.
After lamination, eyelashes become thick, bright, and get a flirty curl. However, with all the advantages, the procedure also has disadvantages. Some women experience a deterioration in the condition of their natural hairs. This happens if you laminate eyelashes more often than the master recommended. The keratin film formed on the hair prevents nutrients from entering the structure, causing the condition of the eyelash row to deteriorate.
To help your eyelashes recover and look healthy for a long time, you can try Botox.

How do they do it?
The lamination procedure is carried out in several stages:
cleansing the skin of the eyelids and hairs;- degreasing eyelashes;
- treatment of eyelids with protective cream;
- protection of lower eyelashes with pads;
- selection of rollers;
- laying eyelashes on rollers lubricated with glue;
- applying curling composition;
- applying the composition for volume;
- coloring;
- coating of eyelashes with keratin composition.
All compounds are applied in strict sequence and kept for a certain time in compliance with the necessary conditions.
The step-by-step procedure for eyelash lamination is shown in this video:
The Botox procedure for hair coincides in stages with lamination , taking into account the difference in the active compositions and the lack of coating of eyelashes with a protective composition that forms a laminating film. You can learn more about how the Botox procedure is performed in the salon and at home here.
Contraindications
There are very few contraindications to the procedures, since they are not invasive. The drugs do not penetrate deep into the skin and do not enter the blood. Therefore, Botox and lamination cannot be done only if:
- pregnancy and lactation - rather out of caution, since it is unknown how the woman’s body will react to the drugs used;
- inflammatory eye diseases - even with very careful use, the product gets on the mucous membranes and can provoke an exacerbation;
- rehabilitation after blepharoplasty and other operations - you need to wait until all wounds and scars are completely healed;
- tendency to severe allergies - or, at a minimum, do preliminary tests on the tolerability of all drugs used.
There is no point in doing the procedure for owners of too short or very thin eyelashes - they will become like sticks sticking out or wrapped in rings. Extensions can be performed no earlier than a month after Botox or lamination, otherwise the added eyelashes simply will not last.

What care is needed after these procedures?
After lamination, the eyelashes look glued together, as if covered with oil; they cannot be wet for a day. But after that the eyelashes will become fluffy, strong and with an expressive curve. After the procedure, the eyelashes are protected with a special composition and protected from oxygen and other means of influence. On the one hand, it is good that they are not affected by any environment, but on the other hand, they cannot be nourished and fed with anything useful, be it vitamins or oils. Although mascara and cosmetics can be used after lamination, they shorten the duration of the result by damaging the film and washing out the composition.
After Botox, eyelashes immediately become long, voluminous and strong, but less expressive than with lamination. But they can be washed and painted right away. After the procedure, the eyelashes are open to receive useful substances (vitamins, oils, restorative and strengthening substances). The use of decorative cosmetics does not in any way affect the result or its longevity.
Post-procedure care is also similar:
- Don't rub your eyes too hard;
- You can use mascara, but it is better for sensitive eyes
- Before going to bed, remove makeup, preferably with non-alkaline and alcohol-based products;
- Nourish your eyelashes yourself with oils (castor, burdock, coconut, almond, etc.).
