What is succinic acid used for?

The tablets are often prescribed to be taken as a dietary supplement. They are prescribed for functional asthenic conditions. Particularly effective during age-related ailments, as well as under extreme conditions.

Taking the drug allows you to fight excessive fatigue, stressful situations, improves memory and brain activity, and fights headaches. The supplement is taken for ischemia and vasospasm.

Experts advise taking the medicine in addition to the main treatment for pathologies of the cardiovascular system.

With all the diseases discussed above, many people are forced to take medications for a long time or throughout their lives that help maintain the functioning of the heart, nervous system, and brain function. The use of succinic acid makes it possible to significantly reduce the number of such medications and the duration of their use. The result is achieved thanks to pharmacology, since the drug is able to enhance the effect of drugs intended for primary treatment.

Cost of the biorevitalization procedure

The price for this service depends on a number of factors: the region of the Russian Federation, the qualifications of the cosmetologist, the salon’s pricing policy, the solvency of its target audience, and hardware equipment.

The minimum price threshold for biorevitalization using a high-quality drug starts from 5,000-7,000 rubles per session. Often, when concluding an agreement for repeated courses, salons offer clients discounts.

Skin care after the procedure

Post-treatment recommendations speed up the recovery process and prolong the success achieved.

· Do not use decorative cosmetics for 2 days.

· Use care products approved by a cosmetologist.

· Do not touch the skin with your hands, do not press on papules, pimples, etc.

· Arnica-based preparations are suitable for getting rid of hematomas.

· If the cosmetologist recommended taking antiviral drugs 3 days before the procedure, then they are taken the same amount after its completion.

· Within 7 days, refuse eyebrow correction or hair removal of the treated area.

· Do not go to fitness, sauna, or swimming pool for the same amount of time if biorevitalization was injected.

· Taking a bath is replaced by a warm shower.

· Limit exposure to the sun for 14 days.

· It makes sense to stop drinking alcohol at first. It dehydrates the body and worsens the effect of the procedure.

After a couple of days, all traces of manipulation are visually smoothed out. And the freshness and youth of the skin delights from 3 months to a year, depending on the individual characteristics of the body.

How to take succinic acid for weight loss

Succinic acid has proven itself well for weight loss. The active substance removes all harmful substances from the body, starting the work of the stomach and intestines and promotes the release of excessively accumulated water.

According to nutritionists, tablets can only be taken as an auxiliary substance to activate the metabolic process. At the same time, you need to maintain proper nutrition and lead an active lifestyle, including physical activity. If you don’t follow these rules, the extra pounds won’t go away.

You need to drink 3 tablets per day for 3 days. Then take a 1-day break, when you also need to limit the amount of food consumed and physical activity, and then resume the three-day course.

Another option is to take 1 g of succinic acid every day for a month.

How to choose a biorevitalizant for the eyes and other areas

Professional products for biorevitalization are available in abundance on the market. But when choosing a drug, it is worth considering several important points.

Factor #1. HA molecule size.

The bottom line. Hyaluronic acid (HA) comes in different forms. The usual native one (not chemically modified) closely matches what our skin produces. But the lifespan of such molecules is 1-2 days. The smaller the mass of HA, the faster it is destroyed in tissues after administration. Accordingly, the effect will be short-term and not sufficiently pronounced, since due to the small mass of the molecule, it cannot retain much moisture.

Conclusions. Preparations with regular native hyaluron should be used in a course with high frequency. For example, a month and a half once a week. In this case, look for a composition with a molecular weight of HA from 1800 kDa.

Factor #2. Chemical modification of HA.

The bottom line. Greater effectiveness can be achieved if you use cross-linked or stabilized hyaluronic acid. It is also called chemically modified. As a result of production in HA molecules, single protein chains are either cross-linked or their connection is strengthened with the help of the drug Mannitol. Cross-linked or stabilized molecules have a longer lifespan - from 10 days to 4 weeks.

Conclusions. Procedures based on this HA are carried out less frequently - once every 2-4 weeks, which is preferable for the patient. The effect is more noticeable and lasts longer.

Factor #3. Non-animal origin of HA.

The bottom line. Different manufacturers produce hyaluron in different ways. The BLUM GEL brand does not use HA of animal origin to minimize the risk of allergies.

Conclusions. If you are allergic, pay attention to this. But even if such manifestations have never happened, it is better to play it safe and choose a reliable manufacturer who does not make secrets about the origin of HA in its compositions.

Factor #4. HA concentration.

The bottom line. Each person has their own concentration. For mesotherapy, the optimal HA content is 0.3-0.5% (a course of 10-12 procedures every 7 days). For young skin – 1.3% concentrate (= 12-13 mg/ml). To lift skin that has crossed the 35-year mark, a concentration of 1.5-2.0% (15-20 mg/ml) is required.

What are the benefits and harms of succinic acid?

The most important property of the supplement is its ability to help the body cope with stressful situations and protect it from the negative effects of harmful microorganisms. This allows the medicine to be included in combination with other drugs to treat various diseases.

Also, taking the supplement has a positive effect on the condition of the skin, helps eliminate rashes, and removes swelling. Succinic acid is added to the composition of many cosmetic products. They can be purchased ready-made or prepared yourself. YAC is also used to make head masks that improve the condition of hair and accelerate its growth.

If you use pills thoughtlessly and in large quantities, it can harm the human body. The drug has contraindications that you should familiarize yourself with before taking it. Also, succinic acid should not be taken continuously for several days. Usually it is taken for no longer than 28 days (day breaks are allowed).

What is the procedure?

Biorevitalization of the face compensates for the deficiency of natural components - the very ones that nature provided us with during our youth. This is an absolute plus - the skin receives from the outside only those elements that are initially “native” to it.

By returning them to the dermis, we create a supply of moisture due to the fact that the gel with hyaluronic acid for the face acts as a “molecular sponge”. It restores the hydro reserve, attracts and retains water, providing a long-term moisturizing effect. Additionally, it helps to organize the chains of collagen and elastin, which are responsible for the elasticity of the dermis framework. Thanks to this it is possible to achieve:

· effective prevention of aging;

· rapid facial rejuvenation;

· improving the appearance of the epidermis, greater smoothness and elasticity;

· color alignment;

· increased tone;

· solving the problem of age-related pigmentation on the face;

· launching deep restoration processes.

Indications and contraindications

Succinic acid is a regulator of oxygen metabolism. When used externally, it controls the processes of photoaging, the formation of scars, wrinkles, and acne. With its help, the dermis is prepared for peelings and rehabilitation is carried out after them, as well as after surgical plastic surgery.

In addition, succinic acid is used for:

  • removing bags under the eyes;
  • cell detoxification;
  • elimination of pigment spots, redness;
  • restoration of damaged cells, water-salt balance in tissues;
  • improving microcirculation of the dermis, restoring skin elasticity and nutrition.

Contraindications include:

  • period of bearing the unborn baby, breastfeeding;
  • tendency to keloid;
  • acute inflammation or exacerbation of chronic diseases;
  • blood clotting disorders, including those caused by taking anticoagulants;
  • skin damage;
  • tumors;

Succinic acid for the face against wrinkles and age spots

  • infections;
  • allergies and individual intolerance to the substance.

Procedure for cleaning with amber in the salon

Amber facial cleansing does not require a preparatory period and can be performed at any time of the year. This saves a lot of time and is convenient for busy patients. The entire peeling process does not take more than 30 minutes and is painless.

Amber peeling involves several stages:

  1. Cleansing the epidermis of dirt, dust particles and fatty deposits of the glands. At this stage, the skin is treated with a tonic and degreasing solution. At the discretion of the cosmetologist, vacuum or hardware cleaning may be additionally performed.
  2. Vaporization – helps to expand pores and soften fibers. In a word, make it as easy as possible for the acid to reach the inner layers of the skin. Both warm compresses and steam inhalation can be used for this. The time of thermal exposure depends on the type of skin: for dry, thin skin it is 7 minutes, for oily skin it is about 20 minutes, and for normal skin it is 10–15 minutes. To get rid of excess moisture, you need to blot your face with a paper napkin. If there is rosacea on the face, vaporization is not carried out, and pore expansion is achieved with a special gel mask.
  3. Applying a peeling product - distribute the preparation in an even layer onto the prepared skin. Keep the composition on the face for up to 15 minutes, then rinse with water.
  4. Additional hydration and nutrition - succinic acid perfectly cleanses pores, increases the ability of the epidermis to absorb nutritional components, so it is recommended to apply a moisturizing or nourishing mask after cleansing.
  5. At the end of the procedure, sunscreen with a high level of SPF is applied.

Many beauty salons offer a gluconic-amber facial peeling procedure. Its difference is that the peeling agent contains gluconic acid. Its action is aimed at additional moisturizing and smoothing the relief. Therefore, the procedure is ideal for dry or mature skin.

Fruit peeling masks

Masks with fruits will help not only rejuvenate and cleanse the skin, but also saturate it with micronutrients:

  1. With currants. 2 tables amber, ground into flour, is mixed with 120 g of fresh currants knocked in a blender. Add 6 g of peach or grape oil. Apply the composition to the skin of the face and leave for about 20 minutes.
  2. With kefir. A spoon (dessert) of a dairy product is connected to an amber tablet. It is not recommended to keep the composition for more than a quarter of an hour.
  3. With strawberry. Mix 1 tablet of acid thoroughly with strawberries whipped in a blender (2-3 pcs). Spread the mixture over your face for 30 minutes. Sometimes after 13-15 minutes you can observe a slight tingling sensation. In such cases, the mask is washed off at the beginning of the feeling of an unpleasant reaction.

After each use at home, fruit masks are washed off with warm water, and the skin is treated with a moisturizing or nourishing cream.

What problems can be solved

The use of succinic acid at home will bring the desired result only with constant use.

  1. It affects all layers of the skin, restores and regulates vital processes not only in active cells, but also in those that have already lost activity. Thus, under the influence of amber, the cellular composition is rejuvenated, wrinkles are smoothed out, and the skin becomes elastic. Treated surfaces are less susceptible to the aging process.
  2. This procedure helps to get rid of dermatological problems, remove the effects of acne, “drown out” the source of irritation, and normalize metabolism.
  3. Amber-based compositions relieve puffiness, age spots, and stretch marks. Thus, the skin color becomes more even and acquires clear contours.
  4. Peeling with succinic acid at home has an effect on the prevention of colds and strengthens the immune system.
  5. Helps eliminate toxins and radioactive substances.
  6. It has a beneficial effect on the strength of vascular walls and improves blood circulation.

Long-term “collaboration” with succinic acid is suitable for all skin types and different age groups. This is not only regular skin care, but also an effective technique for preventing many dermatological problems and diseases.

How does biorevitalization differ from mesotherapy?

Both procedures are based on injections or hardware administration of drugs. But meso-cocktails are made up of a large amount of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, plant extracts and other components. The percentage of hyaluron content in them is much lower than in biorevitalizants.

What is better: mesotherapy or biorevitalization?

There can be no clear answer to this question. Everything is determined by the individual needs of the skin. Note that with biorevitalization, the effect is visible from the first visit to the salon. With mesotherapy, it is cumulative, and there may be no noticeable changes after one treatment.

Indications for hangover

Butanedioic acid (C4H6O4) is intended to relieve a hangover in the initial stages of poisoning by alcohol breakdown products. It is recommended to take it after binges in chronic alcoholism, but systemically and for a long period, since there is no improvement in the condition with daily use.

The biological supplement is indicated for use when the following symptoms appear:

  • dry mouth;
  • dehydration;
  • headache;
  • nausea and vomiting;
  • feeling depressed or tired;
  • chills;
  • tremor;
  • decreased mental activity accompanied by irritability.

To enhance effectiveness, the drug is often included in a comprehensive treatment program for alcoholism, combining it with other substances or medications.

Skin redermalization with succinate and hyaluronic acid

Blocking free radicals and preventing dehydration in therapeutic cosmetology is called skin redermalization. For this procedure, sodium salt of succinic acid (succinate) and hyaluronic acid are used. This combination was first proposed by Professor V.I. Korzhov. During his research, the scientist noticed that this combination has a positive effect on cellular movement and the processes of mutual penetration of proteins and electrolytes. With the simultaneous use of hyaluronate and succinate, the content of pyruvic and lactic acid in tissues decreases, the concentration of buffer bases increases, DNA structure repair, intracellular regeneration, and microsomal oxidation processes are stimulated. As a result, metabolism in dermal cells is stimulated, damaged dermal structures are restored, and rejuvenation occurs.

Indications for skin redermalization using succinate are signs of early, physiological or photoaging of the skin (as well as their prevention). These also include other indications:

  1. Involutional changes in the skin (loss of elasticity, early hypodynamic wrinkles, mild gravitational ptosis, peeling, redness of the face).
  2. Scar changes in acne, post-acne.
  3. The need to prepare the skin to shorten the further rehabilitation period before plastic surgery, laser resurfacing, deep peelings, and other traumatic procedures.

Procedure for redermalization (restoration) of skin with succinic acid

Redermalization of the skin is also indicated for faster recovery after any chemical and mechanical effects that affect the middle and deep layers of the dermis, including the hypodermis.

Application results

Masks with succinic acid give effective results and are therefore considered beneficial for the skin. The powder penetrates deep into the cells, saturates them with vitamins and valuable microelements, and triggers active regeneration processes. Results from using a succinic acid mask.

Results of the course use of masks:

  • the problem of dryness goes away;
  • wrinkles disappear;
  • sebum secretion is normalized;
  • scars are smoothed out;
  • pronounced pigment spots disappear;
  • inflammation decreases;
  • swelling goes away;
  • the skin becomes elastic and fresh.

These results are achieved due to enhanced cellular renewal, acceleration of metabolic processes, and removal of toxins and waste.

Succinic acid is equally beneficial for both dry and oily skin.

Benefits for appearance

Since the acid has the properties of rejuvenation and restoration, it is used in medicine and cosmetology. According to cosmetologists, the drug works great for beauty and health. It is a strong antioxidant that helps cleanse the body of poisons and toxins.

Succinic acid:

  • improves blood circulation;
  • renews the body from the inside;
  • whitens skin with pronounced pigmentation;
  • makes the skin toned;
  • relieves inflammation;
  • reduces rosacea on the face;
  • has a strong moisturizing effect.

According to cosmetologists, this is a kind of “sponge” that draws out harmful substances, thanks to which the cells are filled with energy. Succinic acid is useful for hair, as it will make it easier to style. The curls also acquire a better structure and do not get tangled during combing. To eliminate a specific problem of strands or scalp, you should choose a suitable recipe and apply it according to the specified rules.

How to cook properly

To prepare the mask, use acid just diluted in water. Other ingredients must be fresh and of high quality, otherwise the effect may be the opposite of the desired one. Use clean containers and brushes so as not to cause infection or simply spoil the composition (and it is difficult to predict in advance how your facial skin will react to soured clay with milk). Tablets can be bought at any pharmacy.

Before using the mask, you must perform an allergy test. To do this, you need to apply a small amount of the mask components to the inside of your hand for several hours. If itching and redness occur, this mask should not be applied.

Before using the product, do an individual tolerance test. Caution should be exercised when using essential oils, especially rosemary and lemon.

Succinic acid is effective on its own, but in combination with other substances it can give even more pronounced results.

General rules and tips for use

Succinic acid is effective and useful in itself, so it is not necessary to supplement it with a whole range of products. The main thing is to use masks regularly, apply after washing. You can scrub first, but be careful not to damage the skin.

The mask should be applied to the entire face, but some formulations are undesirable for the eyelid area. If you do everything correctly, the results will not take long to arrive. Scars and stagnant post-acne phenomena are smoothed out well, but pronounced defects cannot be removed.

For dry skin, one procedure per week is enough; for oily skin, up to three can be done.

Homemade recipes for cleansing and rejuvenation

Homemade amber peeling is no different from cosmetic peeling. In addition, you get the opportunity to prepare your own miraculous cleaning product. It is not difficult and does not take much time; all the ingredients can be purchased at the pharmacy or found at home.

Amber facial cleansing

To prepare the cleanser you will need:

  • 1 tsp succinic acid;
  • 2–3 tbsp. boiled, cooled water.
  1. Grind 2-3 tablets of succinic acid into powder.
  2. Add the powder to the water, mix the composition well until the drug is completely dissolved.
  3. Cleanse the skin with milk or tonic and steam.
  4. Using a brush, spread the prepared peeling product onto the surface of your face.
  5. Using your fingertips in massage directions, massage your face for several minutes.
  6. You can leave the composition on your face for another 10 minutes.
  7. Remove any remaining product with a moistened cotton pad.

Amber rejuvenation

Not only peelings with this acid can be done at home. An excellent result is guaranteed by a rejuvenating mask. To prepare it you will need:

  • 2 tables succinic acid;
  • 1 table mumiyo;
  • 1 tbsp. almond oil;
  • 1 tbsp. jojoba oils;
  • 1 tbsp. avocado extract.
  1. Grind the tablets of both drugs into powder.
  2. Add vegetable oils.
  3. Apply the mask to the prepared face for 25 minutes.
  4. Rinse with water.

With regular use of the mask, you can expect a pleasant result with a lifting effect. In addition, scars, post-acne and irritability of the skin will disappear.

Amber cleansing is a very effective procedure, but you still shouldn’t hope to instantly smooth out deep grooves and scars. This procedure can only partially hide visible imperfections. Remember also about the complex impact. One gluconic amber peel may not be enough to rejuvenate or moisturize the skin. Help your skin yourself - adjust your diet, drink more water, be less nervous and do massage or facial exercises. Only coordinated and painstaking work will help achieve incredible results and preserve youth for as long as possible.

Are there any contraindications for use?

Since we are talking about a natural remedy, the list of contraindications to its use is minimal. Obstacles to use may include:

  • Carrying a child. Pregnant women should not experiment with their skin or use bioactive preparations.
  • Pustules, wounds and inflammatory processes occurring on the face. Succinic acid can aggravate the problem, as it acts quite aggressively.
  • Allergy. Happens rarely.
  • Sensitivity to the drug. Like an allergic reaction, it is a rare occurrence.

Side effects from the effects of the described product can be expressed in an exfoliating effect. This is possible when the acid concentration is more than 3%. A suspended concentration turns the drug into an exfoliant or scrub.

Compatibility with other products

Testing of drugs with succinate as the main active ingredient has shown that it combines well with a large list of drugs for various purposes. C4H6O4 reduces the toxic effect that occurs when taking antibiotics, antitumor, antituberculosis and anti-inflammatory drugs. This product goes well with any product, but is especially useful when combined with natural mineral water (Borjomi, Essentuki) and juices, especially vegetable ones. There is a category of medications whose effect is enhanced when taken together with succinate:

  • geroprotectors prescribed to prevent premature aging;
  • antiviral and immunomodulators;
  • probiotics – “Baktisubtil”, “Bifidumbacterin”, “Bifikol”;
  • medicinal tinctures based on ginseng, artichoke, motherwort.
