Biographical information
The famous surgeon of North Ossetia Kazbek Uruskhanovich Kudzaev was born on February 7, 1959 under the constellation Aquarius in the year of the Yellow Earthen Pig according to the eastern calendar. The boy was born in the village of Stary Batako in the Republic of North Ossetia. When Kazbek was four years old, the family moved to the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the city of Terek, located on the right bank of the river of the same name.
There is no information about Kudzaev’s parents. It is not known who they were by profession or what they did. But Kazbek Uruskhanovich remembers them with warmth and respect. They gave their son a good upbringing and instilled a love of family values and loved ones.
Early life
Kudzaev spent his childhood in the Kabardino-Balkarian Terek. There the boy went to school, where he graduated from three classes. There is no exact information about where the family moved later. Perhaps it was Nalchik, since Kazbek said that he had many friends there.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, the young man entered a medical institute in his republic. After receiving his diploma, Kazbek completed his residency and learned from the best specialists in the field of surgery.
The future luminary of medicine underwent training in the United States and some European countries. While working in Kurgan with the outstanding orthopedic surgeon, professor and inventor Gabriel Abramovich Ilizarov in the eighties, Kazbek wrote his dissertation. After her defense, he received the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
Aquiline noses, Vaseline in the chest and voluminous waists
The famous North Ossetian orthopedist and plastic surgeon Kazbek Kudzaev, who last week performed a successful operation on a newborn from Kabardino-Balkaria, told Kavkaz.Realii about the underwater reefs of the Caucasian beauty industry. The interview was scheduled for 18:00 - immediately after the next operation.
– Kazbek, how many operations did you have today?
- Five. Four were planned. But a 28-year-old guy came from Chechnya: his leg was bent, he could barely walk with crutches. They immediately put him down, operated on the meniscus under local anesthesia, got up and walked without limping. Three to four operations daily. And we operate on children with cerebral palsy out of turn.
– Are most of your surgeries plastic?
– Yes, and thanks to them it is possible to treat many patients for free, or rather, at our expense. Even the staff and assistants don’t know who our paid patients are and who is free.
– Is there a downside to plastic surgery? How, for example, will they affect a person in 40-50 years?
– If I feel that an operation could harm the patient after some time, I will never take up a scalpel. Silicone implants do not cause breast cancer, nor do they prevent the disease.
But at the same time, the plastic surgeon recommends that the patient undergo an ultrasound scan every six months. The woman is already being observed, and if a neoplasm is suddenly detected, then the breast tumor at the first stage is easily cured.

In 2022, I developed a new technique for shaping a narrow waist. It is already used in many regions of Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
This technique has made it possible to protect hundreds of women from the extremely undesirable removal of the lower ribs in order to achieve a wasp waist. This is a destructive step.
In short, we make a slight break in the lower two or three pairs of ribs and change their geometry. And then they grow together in a more aesthetic form.
– Removing the ribs means exposing the liver?
– And also the kidneys, adrenal glands, spleen. So many women left themselves without natural protection: any blow to the corner of the table could lead to rupture of the kidney.
We are proud that this technique has been recognized as a breakthrough in medicine. All anti-aging and aesthetic surgeries came from the West, including mammoplasty. Straightening and lengthening the leg is a Russian breakthrough, thanks to Professor Ilizarov.
– What else do we have to save women from? I know that patients from Chechnya came to you and were literally stuffed with Vaseline.
– It was ordinary pharmaceutical Vaseline, which was pumped into soft tissues in a completely sadistic manner to give volume to the shapes. They could drink half a liter into themselves, and then completely lose their mammary glands.
It is impossible to calculate how many people did this. They weren't even nurses. When they asked who did this to you, they said it was a neighbor, we stabbed each other.

For two years, this Vaseline behaves perfectly, and then it turns into terrible scars and granulations form. But over these couple of years, the girl managed to persuade her friends to do this.
At a conference in Makhachkala, he called on his colleagues to solve this problem, to inform as much as possible those who are going to inject the terrible Vaseline.
In Grozny, they held a round table with the country's leading experts, invited journalists, with the help of whom they conveyed how dangerous these games are.
– Were you able to correct the work of artisanal cosmetologists?
– Yes, there was a case when, together with a colleague from St. Petersburg, they operated on a woman: he did the left breast, I did the right. New tissues were formed by transplanting them from the back. There were about 15 such patients.
– The North Caucasus is called a fertile place for the beauty industry.
– There are about 95 plastic surgeons in the North Caucasus, of which 74 are in Makhachkala. Rhinoplasty (nose correction – ed.) is popular there.
The Caucasus is the Caucasus. To gain clientele, novice surgeons dump prices that are designed for low-income patients in order to gain practice. So clients come to them who make noses for 30-35 thousand. In Moscow it can cost 350 thousand rubles.
– What about the quality of Caucasian surgeons?
– It varies a lot. Out of almost a hundred plastic surgeons, you can trust a maximum of 15-20.
– So there is a high risk of a failed operation?
– For beginners – yes. A self-respecting doctor should go to conferences and master classes. And many Caucasian doctors will master one type of operation and put it on stream.
But if the same mistakes are repeated 4-5 times, you need to do something about it. Rhinoplasty is the most capricious operation. Even for experienced surgeons.
Personal life
Kazbek Uruskhanovich was able to build a successful career and create a strong family. The young man married at the age of twenty-three to a girl named Bella, who studied with him at the same university. After a while, a son, Soslan, was born into a family of doctors, and later a second child, Azamat.
The father dreamed that his children would follow in his footsteps, but the youngest son chose a creative profession, even though he graduated from medical school. Now Azamat is a famous musician, performing under the pseudonym Miyagi.
Soslan decided to continue the family dynasty and currently works in his father’s clinic as a rehabilitation specialist.
Kudzaev's wife holds the post of chief physician.
Kudzaev's son: rapper Miyagi
The real name of the son of the famous surgeon is Azamat Kudzaev, who is known to many under the pseudonym Miyagi. Performs in a duet with Soslan Burnatsev aka Andy Panda (formerly Endgame).
The guy decided not to break family traditions and graduated from medical school. He could have become a successful doctor, like his father, but his soul demanded to sing. Kazbek blessed his son for successful work and said that he should become the best in his field.
Miyagi moved to St. Petersburg with his wife Ilona Tuskaeva. They had a son, but by fateful accident, on September 7, 2017, the boy fell out of a window and could not be saved. After the tragedy, the artist’s life was divided into “before and after.” Three years later, the couple had a girl, Samira.
Clinic of Kazbek Kudzaev
In November 2003, Kazbek Uruskhanovich became the general director of the company he created, Doctor Kudzaev Clinic LLC. Highly qualified specialists work in a team with a brilliant surgeon. The equipment used in the clinic is only modern.
Over the years of the medical institution's existence, twenty-four operations have been performed on people over ninety years old and six over one hundred. The center also performs charitable operations on patients with cerebral palsy, children from orphanages and low-income families. Over time, the clinic began to perform plastic surgeries.

Compromising evidence[edit]
According to the Spark portal, the office “Clinic of Doctor Kudzaev” has a low profitability indicator - 2.4 stars out of 5. There are risk factors when working with this office.[2]
On the large medical portal ProDoctors, Kudzaev has a very low rating according to customer data: only 1.67 on a 5-point scale. There is a detailed negative review about the “activities” of this “doctor”:
- Clinic of Doctor Kudzaev - prosp. Costa, 12a. We went to the doctor with a congenital clubfoot, listened to his loud promises to cure us, put on a plaster cast, which came off. Then there were 4 more approaches to casting, and all were unsuccessful. His hands were apparently shaking as he worked. was nervous. When I came again and said that our cast had fallen off again, he got nervous and said: “Your legs are thick, that’s why the cast doesn’t hold on. Lose weight and come for treatment!” Instead of “Sorry, I’m powerless here,” he blamed both me for being careless with the cast and my child for having chubby legs. In short, anyone is to blame, but not him. His words - I treat children under 3 years old for free, is not true. We bought the material at his own pharmacy for plastering, which cost us a tidy sum, but the result was zero! Having gone through this stage, I can confidently say that Dr. Kudzaev does not treat using the Ponseti method!

Interesting Facts
Over several decades, Kazbek Kudzaev has proven that he is one of the leading surgeons. In his clinic, a one hundred and fourteen-year-old woman was successfully operated on, and after surgery she lived for another eight years. This unique case is included in the “Book of Records of the Planet.”
Kazbek Uruskhanovich considers another case unique. The girl was in a car accident a week and a half before the wedding. The surgeon had to perform two operations. The victim had a traumatic brain injury and also damaged her pelvic bones. Thanks to the Ilizarov-Kudzaev-Mirzoyan apparatus, the problem was solved. The lovers did not have to postpone the wedding date, since the bride, eight days after the surgery, was able not only to walk, but even to dance.
Kazbek Uruskhanovich Kudzaev is a doctor of the highest category, plastic surgeon, orthopedist, professor at the Ilizarov Center, and is the winner of many awards for services to medicine.
DOCTOR KUDZAEV: “I DISCUSS GIRLS FROM RHINOPLASTY AND I BELIEVE IN KARMA”
Such operations, for which patients are not charged, are being performed in private medical institutions more and more often. Doctors can afford to do this thanks to other clients who are willing to pay large sums for aesthetic surgery. In this way, they not only improve their appearance, but also help change the lives of people who do not have the means for the better. Currently, the clinic has performed more than three thousand free manipulations on patients suffering from cerebral palsy. Only in some cases, when the operation lasts a long time, do they pay for drugs and anesthesia.
Rescued girl dreams of becoming a doctor
At the age of two, Anya (at the request of the characters, the names have been changed) broke her leg. However, after a month in a cast, the fracture still did not heal. The procedure was repeated, the result was the same. The doctors shrugged and advised me to go to Moscow. There, after an examination, it turned out that this was not just a fracture, the girl had a rare congenital disease called “false joint”, in which the bones do not heal for a long time, which ultimately can lead to catastrophic consequences. “The prognosis was unfavorable; the child could be left without a leg,” the mother recalls. “In addition, Anya was diagnosed with a benign tumor. Moscow professors managed to remove it. But the bone still did not heal.
Doctors proposed the newest method - autogenous bone grafting. They took a bone from the girl’s body and inserted it in place of the void. According to doctors' calculations, it should have taken root, but this did not happen. The family traveled to Moscow and back to Stavropol four times to remain under the supervision of doctors in the capital. When we arrived for the last time, Moscow doctors had already thrown up their hands. They gathered a consultation and offered the last chance - vascular surgery. Blood did not flow to the site where the nonunion was located. However, the operation was proposed to be carried out at the discretion of the parents; no one gave high guarantees, since manipulations with blood vessels were very risky.
The family began to look for other methods. We asked a relative from Germany to find out how a similar illness is treated there. But they didn’t give any guarantees either.
“Probably God, seeing my despair, sent me a chance.” I was complaining to a friend when she said: “I heard about this doctor Kazbek Kudzaev in Ossetia. Maybe you should call him? - says Anya’s mother. “I refused for a long time, because the best doctors in the country looked at my baby. But this woman had the gift of persuasion. I called and the doctor invited me to come. He looked and said, yes, everything is clear here. And he promised that if he took up the matter, he would see it through to the end. He said it so confidently that I believed it. And indeed, a month after the operation, Anya began to walk. It seemed to me that I was born again, it was a miracle.
Now the girl is 15 years old, she is in ninth grade, preparing for the Unified State Exam. Wants to go to medical school.
“He says I want, like Doctor Kudzaev, to be smart, to help people, to save lives and health.” We are still in touch with him, we consult when necessary. As he himself says, under his care,” the woman smiles. - He is a real wizard. Apparently, he loves his profession so much that God himself helps him.
Didn't allow amputation of a leg crippled in an accident
In 2004, 18-year-old Aslan Dzusov was in a car accident. Together with a friend, he flew into a power pole. Wires fell on the car and it caught fire. The driver died instantly. Aslan tried to get out of the burning car, but got stuck. He was saved by special forces passing by. But the injuries were terrible: fractures and fourth-degree burns.
The guy spent a month and a half in intensive care. Doctors did not predict whether he would survive at all. In the very first week, after many serious procedures, the question arose about whether to save the victim’s legs. The dead tissue caused severe intoxication of the body, and the kidneys began to fail.
Aslan's relatives turned to Kazbek Kudzaev for help. He arrived and performed the first operation right in the intensive care unit, after which he installed Ilizarov apparatuses. Some of the charred bones were cut off and dead tissue was removed, because they would not have fused.
A month and a half after the operation, Aslan was transferred from intensive care to the burn department. The legs were saved. After this, planned operations began. 14 years have passed, during which time 26 different operations were performed, not only on traumatology, but also on skin grafts, and ligaments were also performed. Due to the difference in leg length, one had to be shortened. It was impossible to stretch the patient, so they decided to shorten the other one. The operation was very serious and took place in two stages.
