I grew up in Tula, and studied at the Ryazan Medical Institute, as I wanted, moving towards my childhood dream of becoming a surgeon. I performed my first operation while still a student; in my 4th year I was entrusted with an appendectomy. Of course, I will never leave a patient with a result that I am not entirely satisfied with, in order to later “improve” it later. It’s funny to even talk about this. However, girls are fickle people. There are cases when they come back after a couple of years, saying that they changed their minds and decided that they need to make their breasts even bigger - install larger implants (but no one has ever asked me to change the implants to smaller ones). Therefore, when a patient fluctuates between two sizes (a little larger or a little smaller), this must be kept in mind.

Have you encountered difficulties when performing operations on patients who have changed their gender?

Although it is now fashionable to perform gender reassignment operations, I have not yet had such patients. But, to be honest, I don’t really want to do this. This is not something new, some kind of “challenge” for a plastic surgeon. In fact, if, for example, after a gender change, a boy transforms into a girl and wants to enlarge his breasts, then this is by no means a difficult problem. There is nothing particularly complicated about such an operation. Implants are installed, in a word, everything goes like a regular breast augmentation.

Most of my patients come to me on the recommendation of someone who has already operated on me. This is the so-called “word of mouth”. As a rule, the girls themselves, right from the door, talk about how they found out about me, which of their friends or acquaintances recommended me.
