The effect of hyaluronic acid injections in the treatment of joints
In older people or those who suffer from any joint disease, the amount of joint lubrication decreases sharply, it ceases to perform its protective and lubricating functions, and cartilage tissue is destroyed. This further aggravates the situation, causing inflammation and increased joint pain.
The introduction of hyaluronic acid into the joint cavity eliminates (reduces) these negative consequences, replenishing the amount of synovial fluid, increasing its viscosity.
Hyaluronic acid also improves the nutrition of hyaline cartilage cells (chondrocytes), thereby ensuring cartilage renewal and stopping its further destruction.
Patients note a noticeable effect from treatment in the initial stages of degenerative-dystrophic changes in the joint.
Session outline
The vascular stage always begins with a diagnosis of the treated area by a cosmetologist. To do this, he carefully examines the skin on it, asks the client about the presence of contraindications and what symptoms. If necessary, tests are prescribed.
After the examination, the master prescribes medications and cocktails to perform the procedure.
The technology itself is carried out according to the following scheme:
- The skin is cleansed using a special medical composition and treated with a disinfectant solution of Chlorhexidine.
- The selected drug is drawn up with a syringe with a thin, cosmetic needle.
- The cosmetologist performs a series of injections along the spine.
- Next, another 10-15 punctures are performed along horizontal lines, based on where you plan to perform mesotherapy.
- At the end of the session, excess drug is removed and the skin is re-treated with Chlorhexidine.
- A soothing lotion is applied.
Since a special thin needle is used for the procedure, it most often does not cause severe discomfort to the girl, which is why no anesthetic is used. However, if the pain threshold is low, a local anesthetic can be applied before the session.
Expected Result
Most often, the vascular stage is carried out in 1-2 sessions, which depends on the initial condition of the skin, as well as the problem that the girl wants to get rid of.
You will be able to notice changes in the condition of your skin just a day after the session in the salon. At the same time, they are reflected not only in its visual condition: immediately after administration of the drug, the body begins to cleanse itself of toxins, blood circulation is normalized, and the production of new epithelial cells is accelerated.
In addition, when performing vascular mesotherapy, the risks of blood clots in the vessels and, accordingly, diseases of the cardiovascular system are significantly reduced.
Cocktail ingredients
For vascular mesotherapy, special preparations are used to prepare the skin for injections. They are usually selected individually for each client by a cosmetologist, since not only the purpose of the procedure is taken into account, but also the initial condition of the skin and the health of the girl.
Most often, the following compositions are used in the vascular stage:
- Vasodilators;
- Compositions that provide accelerated lymphatic drainage;
- Enzymes to accelerate blood microcirculation;
- Venotonics are drugs that ensure the outflow of blood in the veins.
All cocktails used during the vascular stage are absolutely safe and hypoallergenic, so they most often do not cause a negative skin reaction.
Operating principle
Vascular mesotherapy is an injection but minimally invasive procedure that involves the introduction of special preparations into the skin that normalize its internal microflora.
The main effect of the technique is to awaken those metabolic and regenerative processes in the dermis that slow down with age.
This helps prepare the treated area for mesotherapy and increase the efficiency of absorption of the beneficial substances of the meso-cocktail.
Advantages of the method
Despite the effectiveness and necessity of performing the vascular stage before mesotherapy itself, many cosmetologists neglect this recommendation, which reduces the safety of the technique.
The vascular stage itself has many advantages:
- Restoration of the internal microflora of tissues.
- Increasing the effectiveness of mesotherapy and the absorption of nutrients.
- Absolute safety. All preparations and compositions used by cosmetologists do not contain toxic or aggressive components.
- Minimum risks and undesirable consequences.
- Possibility of treating any area of the body.
- No direct contraindications. Restrictions are prescribed mainly for mesotherapy itself, but not for the vascular stage.
At the same time, the method does not have any serious disadvantages. With proper injections, you can increase the effectiveness of mesotherapy and avoid side effects after it.
Reasons for the procedure
Most skin problems - both age-related and genetic - are mainly associated with problems with its internal microflora. Because of this, saturation of cells with useful substances is not at all sufficient for a radical transformation of the skin.
The vascular stage contributes to the following changes in the dermis:
- Restoration of natural metabolic processes;
- Acceleration of blood microcirculation;
- Lymphatic drainage;
- Awakening of “sleeping capillaries”;
- Active production of collagen and elastin;
- Activation of epithelial cell regeneration.
The awakening of natural processes is especially clearly reflected in the elimination of cellulite and fat deposits. This is due to the cause of their occurrence – problems with metabolism and blood circulation.
However, the vascular stage should not be missed when treating other areas. In any case, he can achieve the desired result without serious complications.
Possible complications
The main discomfort of vascular mesotherapy is that it involves the administration of drugs by injection. Because of this, it can cause a certain reaction of the skin to mechanical stress.
This reaction is most often reflected in the form of local redness and increased sensitivity of the treatment area, and it subsides within a day.
Serious complications and undesirable consequences usually do not occur after vascular mesotherapy, however, if itching, burning, peeling or even a rash occurs, it is important to immediately tell a cosmetologist or consult a dermatologist, since such symptoms are most often signs of an allergic reaction.
