Reviews of multi-acid peelings from Alpika

Almond peeling

MANDELICPEEL 40% – superficial peeling based on mandelic acid obtained from bitter almonds.
Mandelic acid (phenylglycolic acid) is an aromatic fatty acid belonging to alpha hydroxy acids. The action of mandelic acid is similar to that of glycolic acid. However, since mandelic acid is a larger molecule, it penetrates the skin slowly. This results in good controllability of the penetration of the almond peeling drug and low irritating effect. A short post-peeling period is used with dark and dark skin, papulo-pustular acne. Peeling action:

  • antiseptic (bactericidal and antimycotic);
  • keratolytic;
  • anticomedogenic;
  • moisturizing.

Mandelic acid is the most effective of the AHA acids in the treatment of acne, as it has a good keratolytic effect. Prevents comedogenesis and has a bactericidal effect, comparable in effectiveness to the use of antibiotics. Mandelic acid does not have a photosensitizing effect. Therefore, peeling can be carried out during periods of high solar activity.

The principle of action and effectiveness of Alpika multi-acid peelings

Prominent representatives of Alpika cosmetics are multi-acid peeling and Lactobionic peeling.

The multi-acid exfoliant contains a complex of natural acids. The product has a liquid, transparent, watery structure and has a sour odor. It is convenient to use because it is packaged in a transparent plastic bottle with a pump.

Fruit acids in the peeling composition help dissolve the natural ligament that holds the keratinized particles together. Under the influence of the composition, they are eliminated, after which the skin regeneration process starts. Acids also help smooth out wrinkles, as well as remove age spots, increase the elasticity of the skin, allowing it to retain moisture for a long time. Skin that is sufficiently hydrated has greater smoothness and elasticity.

LACTOBIONIC peeling has a comprehensive effect on the skin. The minimally irritating effect of this product makes it suitable for use on sensitive or problematic skin. The combination of salicylic and lactobionic acids has a powerful antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, these substances restore the skin, promoting its regeneration. Salicylic acid prevents the development of bacteria that cause acne. Lactic acid is responsible for moisturizing and rejuvenating the skin. Tartaric acid has an anti-pigmentation effect, and it also controls the secretion of sebum.

Reviews from cosmetologists

Simonova Olga Konstantinovna, dermatologist, Moscow

“Alpika peels are good, high-quality, effective products. However, before using multi-acid peeling, like any other cosmetic product, you should carefully weigh the pros and cons and study possible contraindications or side effects. But the most important thing is strict and strict adherence to the instructions. Rash actions in the form of exceeding the dosage of the product or the exposure time can cause chemical burns or other skin problems. The ideal solution is a consultation with a competent cosmetologist who will help you choose the optimal peeling acidity level.”

Krasnov Oleg Valentinovich, cosmetologist St. Petersburg

“Some clients note that the 5% Alpika peeling is rather weak for them. This is not surprising - it happens. The fact is that the density and sensitivity of people's skin is different. Some people need 5%, some need 15%, and some need all 40%. During the procedure, the individual characteristics of the skin are also taken into account. For clients practicing peeling at home, it is recommended to use an acidic biotonic to begin with. This manipulation will prepare the face for stronger peelings. Next you should apply peeling 5%, then 15% and only then, if necessary, 40%. Although I do not recommend doing the latter yourself, it is better under the supervision of a professional cosmetologist. By the way, if the client seems to feel nothing, this does not mean that no processes are happening to the skin. The fact is that chemical peels from Alpika are as gentle as possible, but at the same time they are able to penetrate quite deeply, causing only minor peeling.”

Kirillova Larisa Petrovna, cosmetologist, Voronezh

“I am often asked whether it is possible to apply 5% Alpika peelings to the skin around the eyes. In principle, such an effect will not harm the delicate area, but only if it is used no more than once a week and left for no more than 5-10 seconds. Otherwise, there is a high chance of drying out the skin around the eyes, which does not help improve the appearance of this area.”

Post-peeling care

For the first 1-2 days after the procedure, the patient should use Vegefarma moisturizing cream and MediScreen sunscreen in the morning. Starting from day 3, apply Postpeel Light cream at night. Depending on the indications, it is possible to use Postpeel Active or Anti Acne Complex. Peeling is observed after 1–2 days after 1–4 procedures.
