Saturating the skin with hyaluronic acid without injections is one of the leading trends in modern cosmetology.
These procedures are called non-injection biorevitalization or laser hyaluroplasty because they use a laser. At A Clinic they are carried out using the most modern equipment - VitaLaser 500, an innovative development of German specialists.

Laser hyaluroplasty is perhaps the best choice for you if you want to quickly and permanently refresh, heal and rejuvenate your skin without injections or traumatic effects.

What is laser hyaluroplasty?

This method is biorevitalization, that is, increasing the amount of hyaluronic acid. Each molecule of this unique natural polymer holds up to a million water molecules. Why is this so important?

Hyaluronic acid retains not just water, but intercellular fluid. It is through it that all cells, including fibroblasts and collagen fibers, are nourished. Collagen is a living protein and requires nutrition. With a lack of intercellular fluid, it begins to starve and collapse. This leads to loosening and destruction of collagen fibers.

Laser biorevitalization replenishes the lack of hyaluronic acid in the dermis, improves its hydration and nutrition of collagen fibers. In addition, hyaluronic acid activates the work of fibroblasts, which means the synthesis of new collagen. This ensures fast and lasting results of hyaluroplasty.

Advantages of non-injection biorevitalization

Laser biorevitalization Provides the beneficial effects of hyaluronic acid, while:

  • there is no damage to the skin;
  • there is no pain;
  • there is no risk of hematoma formation and infectious complications;
  • there is no need for a rehabilitation period after the procedure.

Why laser?

The laser has two effects. Firstly, it ensures the penetration of hyaluronic acid molecules into the dermis. Secondly, laser radiation itself penetrates the skin. With its help, short molecules are stitched into long chains.

It is the long chains of hyaluronic acid that retain fluid, provide nutrition to collagen fibers, protect them from destruction and make them stronger and more elastic.

But such long chains, consisting of 5-10 thousand links, cannot penetrate the skin barrier. To make this possible, they need to be reduced by a thousand times. Such small fragments of 5-10 links easily penetrate the dermis. Then they need to be connected into long chains.

With the help of a laser, the openings between skin cells widen and let in short molecules of hyaluronic acid. After this, the short chains are stitched into long chains using the same laser. These long molecules begin to work actively and quickly give the desired result of hydration and tightening.

Results of non-injection biorevitalization:

  • visible skin rejuvenation (skin acquires an attractive, healthy appearance);
  • effective skin hydration (dry skin, flaking disappear);
  • significant disappearance of wrinkles;
  • smoothing skin texture and narrowing pores;
  • strengthening the protective properties of the skin.

The effect is visible immediately after the first procedure. A course of procedures provides lasting results for up to 6 weeks. With proper skin care, the achieved result lasts for 6 months.

Non-injection biorevitalization enhances the effect of injectable preparations based on hyaluronic acid.

Indications

The best age to start laser hyaluroplasty is 35 years.
Over the next 20 years, regular implementation of these procedures will help keep the skin young, healthy, tightened and moisturized, prevent, correct and neutralize the aging process. Main indications of the procedure:

  • dryness, thinning, tightness and increased sensitivity of the skin,
  • multiple small wrinkles and medium wrinkles,
  • decrease in turgor,
  • drooping, decreased elasticity and firmness,
  • skin restoration after laser resurfacing, Fraxel procedures, peelings,
  • prevention and treatment of photoaging,
  • unhealthy skin color due to insomnia, overwork.

When is non-injection (laser) biorevitalization recommended?

Non-injection biorevitalization is effectively used for:

  • correction of wrinkles (especially around the eyes);
  • deep moisturizing and nourishing of the skin;
  • smoothing skin texture;
  • improving microcirculation;
  • restoration of the shape and volume of the lips;
  • express lifting;
  • recovery after peeling;
  • treatment of acne (acne).

Contraindications to the procedure are minimal. Laser biorevitalization is not performed in case of hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy and in the case of autoimmune diseases.

Possibilities of biorevitalization at ART-Clinic

Hyaluronic acid injections made during biorevitalization can:

  • restore the water balance of dry, aging skin;
  • make the oval of the face clearer and more prominent;
  • solve the problem with pigment spots.

In addition, thanks to biorevitalization you can get rid of:

  • bags and bruises under the eyes;
  • wrinkles and folds;
  • spider veins and rosacea (red mesh on the skin);
  • scars (due to acne and traumatic);
  • stretch marks;
  • cellulite,
  • local fat deposits;
  • double chin.

Injection technique as the main method of facial biorevitalization

Since injection biorevitalization of the face is most often carried out and it is around it that there is the greatest amount of controversy and doubt, we will dwell on it in more detail. In general, the procedure includes 3 stages:

  • Preparation;
  • directly carrying out the procedure;
  • consolidation of the obtained result.

Preparation for facial biorevitalization involves a consultation with a cosmetologist. There, he will initially assess the condition of the skin and determine whether a particular patient requires facial biorevitalization or should pay attention to other cosmetic procedures. He will also conduct a thorough survey, during which he will find out what chronic diseases there are, what procedures were performed previously and what effect they had.

In rare cases, to exclude the presence of contraindications, it is necessary to undergo tests or consult a specialist.

If biorevitalization of the face is indicated, the cosmetologist will determine the areas requiring treatment, individually select the hyaluronic acid preparation and the method of its administration. Today there are many drugs, but all of them can be divided into those containing low molecular weight hyaluronic acid or high molecular weight. The former are absorbed faster and easier by the skin, actively stimulating fibroblasts, but are not able to retain water for a long time. The latter, on the contrary, bind water much better, providing a more pronounced moisturizing effect and better tightening of the skin, but take longer to absorb. Also, hyaluronic acid preparations can be monocomponent or combined, not to mention dozens of types from manufacturers.

If there are no contraindications, the date for the procedure is set taking into account the wishes and plans of the patient, since after it you will need to stay at home for several days. If possible, it can be carried out on the same day immediately after the consultation. The injection biorevitalization of the face itself takes 30-40 minutes and is carried out as follows:

  • cleansing the skin of decorative cosmetics and dust;
  • applying an antiseptic;
  • face marking;
  • applying anesthetic to the affected areas;
  • unpacking the syringe and filling it with the selected hyaluronic acid preparation immediately in front of the patient;
  • performing injections using the selected technique (papular, micropapular, linear-retrograde).

If another method of biorevitalization was chosen, instead of an anesthetic, a hyaluronic acid preparation is applied to the skin and immediately after that it is administered using the selected type of physical influence.

After the last injection, a cream with a soothing, anti-inflammatory effect, designed specifically to consolidate the results of biorevitalization, is applied to the entire face. It contains special components that help retain hyaluronic acid in the skin and potentiate its action.

After this, the cosmetologist assesses the condition of the skin and individually develops recommendations for further care. Compliance with them will help you get the most pronounced results, quickly recover and avoid the development of complications.

Generally, it is recommended:

  • do not touch your face for 24 hours after the procedure and for 2 days refrain from using any cosmetics other than those prescribed by a cosmetologist;
  • take a break from playing sports, visiting a solarium, bathhouse, sauna, or beach for a week;
  • give up alcohol for at least a couple of days;
  • drink more water.

Hyaluronic acid injection techniques

Direct injections of the selected drug can be carried out in different ways, which is also selected separately for each patient. Today there are:

  • Papular technique, which involves introducing the drug into the upper and middle layers of the skin with a needle at an angle of 15°. As a result, a papule (bump) is formed at the site of each puncture, acting as a depot of hyaluronic acid for the skin. In this case, the size of the papule, i.e., the amount of the drug administered, depends on the purpose pursued and the characteristics of the skin. When working on areas with dense skin, papules of 3-4 mm are made. And when the drug is injected into the skin around the eyes and lips, a smaller amount of the drug is used, so the papules in this case do not exceed 1-2 mm.
  • The micropapular or tubercular technique involves injecting hyaluronic acid through a syringe by placing the needle at an angle of 45° relative to the skin, with its cut pointing downwards. As a result, the drug is injected to a depth of 3 mm, due to which its depot is created quite deeply. This ensures the absence of characteristic bumps on the skin and maintains its smoothness. Therefore, with the tubercle technique there is no need to exclude social activity. But it requires more professionalism from the doctor, since it becomes much more difficult to accurately control the dose of hyaluronic acid and the uniformity of injection.

  • Linear-retrograde technique, the principle of which is borrowed from facial reinforcement. It is considered the most difficult to perform, since the cosmetologist needs to insert a needle 1.2-1.3 cm long parallel to the surface of the skin for the entire length and release the drug evenly, moving it back. The advantages of the method are high efficiency and a significant reduction in the number of injections. In addition, the skin is more traumatized, which on the one hand activates the synthesis of its own collagen and elastin, and on the other hand requires a longer recovery.

Recovery period

Swelling, inflammation and minor bumps after injections disappear within 1-2 days. Noticeable changes are observed 7-10 days after the procedure. To achieve maximum results, it is recommended to carry out a course of injections (3-4 procedures). To minimize the risk of side effects and reduce rehabilitation time, it is necessary to follow general recommendations.

  • In the first few days after biorevitalization, it is unacceptable to touch the skin with your fingers, try to smooth out papules or squeeze liquid out of them, or apply decorative cosmetics and various products (except those prescribed by a doctor). Also, in the first days you should avoid overheating - drying your hair with hot air, cooking over a hot stove, etc. Otherwise, you can provoke increased swelling.
  • For 7 days after biorevitalization, you cannot go to the pool, sauna, bathhouse, or gym. It is necessary to limit the load and refrain from visiting places where the skin may become inflamed from dust. Do not wash your face with very hot water.
  • For 2 weeks it is forbidden to stay in the sun for a long time or visit a solarium. Before going outside, you must use products with a protection factor of at least 30 SPF.
  • For 1–2 weeks, restrictions on physiotherapy, chemical peeling, and facial skin massage are introduced.
  • During the recovery period, it is not recommended to drink alcohol, regardless of its type and strength.

Compliance with the general rules of care after biorevitalization and individual doctor’s prescriptions will help shorten the recovery period and preserve the effect of the procedures for a long time.

Stages of implementation

The injection of hyaluronic acid rarely causes severe pain. Light tingling and itching during injections appear due to the vitamins, peptides and amino acids included in the cocktails. To minimize discomfort, before the injection, the doctor treats the patient’s face with a cream, spray or gel with an anesthetic. The process of biorevitalization The procedure can be divided into stages: 1. First, the cosmetologist thoroughly treats the skin using a special product to clean it and prevent infection. 2. To eliminate the risk of unpleasant sensations, an anesthetic ointment is applied to the skin. 3. Depending on the goals, the doctor makes markings with a marker. 4. After this, a series of microinjections begins. Hyaluronic acid is injected into the surface layers of the skin with a special syringe with a microneedle. 5. To prevent swelling and inflammation, after completing the procedure, apply a cream with a soothing effect to the skin. 6. The procedure can be combined with hardware techniques (photorejuvenation, thermolifting). The combination therapy regimen is prescribed by the attending cosmetologist. If the drug is injected deeply, swelling (papules) may form. They disappear within 48 hours, and traces of microinjections become indistinguishable within 1.5 hours after the procedure.
