Vardan Robertovich Khachatryan is a plastic surgeon at the Israeli aesthetic medicine clinic SELINE. In 2004, he graduated from the Kuban State Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation with a degree in general medicine. In 2005 he received a certificate in surgery. A little over 2 years ago, this doctor literally disfigured me. Now, in order. I came to him after an unsuccessful breast lift, which did not give the desired result. I was not happy that the areolas turned out to be disproportionately large and there were small scars around, but no more than 0.5 cm. Even an ultrasound of the gland said it was not necessary, although the access was subareolar. He also did not prescribe any postoperative treatment for me, except to treat the stitches with iodine solution and change the gauze pad daily. After the operation, my right breast began to squish, which I informed Vardan about. But he said it was okay. 3 days after the operation, the stitches on the left breast began to come apart. I came to see Vardan in a panic. Vardan said that it’s not scary, you need to smear it with bipanten, and if that doesn’t help, apply levomekol. At the reception, he aggressively harassed me during the examination, tried to kiss me, etc... The wound did not heal for more than 3 months. As a result, a huge scar appeared on one side, almost 3 cm in size. Meanwhile, the right, squelching breast shifted from the center to the armpit and became significantly lower than the left; with a slight tilt, the implant literally fell out of the right breast, its contours were clearly felt, and the upper pole was the opposite was 3 cm below the left breast. When the hole in the chest healed, I turned to Vardan with a request to do something with the scar, as he promised, and also to put the right implant in place so that the chest looked symmetrical. Vardan began to convince me that the implant was in place, it was just that I didn’t have enough fatty tissue in my right breast to cover it, and the skin had stretched. He offered to remove the scar from the left breast and at the same time re-tighten the right one and promised that the problem would go away. I agreed, which I still can’t forgive myself for. Because I believe that he did not want to pay for the anesthesia at his own expense, he performed the operation on me under local anesthesia. Therefore, during the operation I witnessed how everything happened. The stitches on his right breast began to not come together; apparently, wanting to get rid of the problem as quickly as possible with the least amount of effort, he removed too much tissue. Instead of calmly sewing it up, he began to harshly pull at the threads, trying to pull the seam together and pulled it off...after 5 days, the areola burst in the middle, the seam began to separate, then literally in 3 days the seam split almost over the entire areola, forming a huge non-healing wound. I wrote to him on WhatsApp and sent him a photo. Vardan answered, literally: “Well, what can you do, such skin.” Six months later, the wound had barely healed, and a huge scar of 3 cm had formed around the entire circumference of the areola. Now not a single doctor wanted to take on me. When I undressed, I saw horror in the eyes of plastic surgeons with the words, who disfigured you like that? But finally I found someone who decided to help me. True, you will have to do the operation in several stages. A month has passed, everything is healing and nothing is coming apart, apparently the problem is not in the skin, but in the lack of medical ethics and knowledge.
