Lancome Visionnaire: first reviews
If you remember, at the beginning of December we gave three volunteers full bottles of the new Lancome Visionnaire product, which promises us all kinds of joys for the skin in one bottle.
The girls are ready to share their first opinion about the products - based on the results of two weeks (we are not discussing the results yet, two weeks is not a long time for a skincare product).
Elena (27):
— So, only a few days have passed since I started using the Lancome Visionnaire serum. This serum is designed to activate the regenerating properties of the skin, due to which wrinkles are reduced, pores are narrowed, and the tone and microrelief of the skin is evened out. To be honest, I don’t yet understand how skin regeneration affects pore size, but oh well, let’s check it in practice.
These days I used the serum morning and evening in order to better evaluate its restorative abilities on the recent, uh, consequences of skin cleansing in the salon. Next, I’m going to apply it only at night, since I have a different serum for the day, and skin restoration processes are activated at night.
The smell of the serum cannot be said to be pleasant - it’s kind of chemical, a little alcoholic, but not unpleasant either. After three days I no longer perceive it, apparently I’m used to it and don’t feel it. The first two days when applying the serum, a tingling sensation was felt, but then either the skin got used to it, or some micro-wounds healed, I don’t know. The serum no longer stings.
I like the texture: the serum is not sticky and absorbs quickly. After it, the skin feels moisturized, the feeling of tightness that I often feel after washing my face goes away. If you look closely at a drop of serum, you can see tiny sparkling particles. No matter how you look at it, they are not noticeable on the skin. Perhaps this is necessary for those girls who prefer not to use makeup, and at the same time are looking for a product that gives the face a natural glow due to light reflection. I haven’t tested this effect because I never go anywhere without foundation.
Well, what about skin restoration after traumatic procedures? It must be said that, for example, soothing masks for sensitive skin cope with this task much better. Serum is definitely not suitable for these purposes. Redness does not go away, irritation does not decrease. Now we’ll wait to see how it copes with small wrinkles, pores and visible blood vessels. Wait for the continuation...

— I’ve been using the serum for a week now. What can I say: the aroma of this serum is a real Lancome scent, the aroma of perfume! The consistency is pleasant, it applies well to the face, after use the skin absorbs the product well and the presence of serum is not felt on it, the skin immediately becomes matte.
I haven’t noticed any narrowing of the pores yet and the wrinkles haven’t gone away. There is a minus - for some reason you cannot apply any cream to it, it is not absorbed. I once applied it in the morning and was at home all over - the cream shone on my face until the evening. I continue to use it, morning and evening, 3 drops are used at a time.

Lancome Precious Cells. Revitalizing face mask and nourishing lip balm

Today I have a review of a moisturizing, restorative face mask and caring lip balm from the Lancome brand.
Please take a look.
It so happened that I am almost not familiar with the brand’s skincare products, only decorative ones. The last thing I had was Lancome Visionnaire Creme Multi-Correctrice Fondamentale, which, by the way, I liked, but also more as a decorative product, since it perfectly replaced a makeup base
So, Lancome Absolue Precious Cells - mask with rose petals to restore and nourish the skin, 75 ml
The product comes in a heavy glass jar with a screw-on lid. The jar itself is placed in a cardboard box of a light golden hue. All information about the product is on the box. I didn’t really like the packaging itself, it leaves too many fingerprints on it, including the lid, it all looks kind of stolen.
The mask itself has a thick gel soft consistency, full of rose petals, according to the manufacturer.
It is applied to the skin very simply and easily, spreads perfectly over it, does not flow, let alone drip. When applied, the rose petals are not felt at all; I get the feeling that they are being rubbed.
The aroma of the mask is pleasant, roses and boiled carrots, to my nose, I immediately remembered Trezor.
You can apply the mask as you like - a thin layer or thicker, I prefer the second method, the amount shown in the photo, I need three to four times more on my face, plus my neck, so for me the mask is not very economical.
The composition, frankly speaking, is weak, as for the Precious Cells series, which is declared by the manufacturer as anti-aging.
Water, centifolia rose water, glycerin, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, rose hip petals, centifolia rose extract.
Rose essential oil stimulates type 3 collagen, an antioxidant, gives an even, beautiful color to the skin, and eliminates swelling.
Due to the gel consistency, the mask creates the effect of so-called osmosis, the epidermal cells swell, the skin is really well moisturized and smoothed (that’s why I don’t apply it thinly). The manufacturer advises keeping the mask on for 10 minutes, I do so, then remove it with a damp cloth and then I immediately apply an alginate mask - the effect after all these procedures is excellent - the skin looks great, even, moisturized, smooth, uniform, color evened out.
You can do without alginate, but then, as I mentioned above, this mask is rather weak for me.
This mask is suitable for any skin type; it does not sting when it is on the face, does not irritate anything anywhere, only pleasantly cools, and the face feels comfortable in it.

Lancome Precious Cells - nourishing lip balm, 15 ml.
The balm is in a plastic tube and the same light golden cardboard box.
The packaging is typical for lip balms - you squeeze the tube and a certain amount of balm comes out of the spout, which is intended for application.
The smell for me is still the same - roses, which I personally smell quite often and boiled carrots)
The balm itself is quite thick, I would even say, with a tight creamy consistency.
It’s inconvenient for me to apply it to my lips with the nozzle of the tube, precisely because of the consistency - I squeeze a drop onto my finger and spread it on it.
I really liked the balm - it literally envelops the lips, absorbs a little into them and does not crawl away anywhere after that. There is no feeling of greasy, slippery, or anything extra on the lips. It does not get into folds, does not gather at the junction of the lips, does not creep behind the border, does not stick.
Contains wax, squalane, glycerin, titanium dioxide, by the way, vitamin E, blueberry extract, soy proteins, hyaluronic acid, adenosine, honey, rosehip oil.
The balm is white, slightly beige in color, but applies transparently to the lips.
My lips are dry, they often crack and peel - this balm makes them comfortable, it moisturizes, but nourishes better and smoothes the very surface of the lips well. It certainly doesn’t increase their volume, but the lips look full. Immediately after, I apply gloss or moisturizing lipstick and my lips look great. I think it’s great for the winter because of its nutritional value.
