I never thought that I would encounter such a problem. I have never been bothered by the skin in the area around my eyes; I chose separate care based on minimal requirements: a light texture and basic moisturizing were enough. Before I start talking about the products, I would like to understand a little about the causes and effects in order to better understand why I decided to choose them. For those who are not interested in my complaints, scroll down to the review itself.

What many are accustomed to calling “bags” under the eyes can look different and have a different nature. For example, the eyes may simply swell in the morning as a result of excess fluid retention due to metabolic disorders in the body - this can happen at any age and quickly disappear when the cause is eliminated. Age bags occur when, due to loss of firmness and elasticity, the thin skin in this area is no longer able to retain fatty tissue. In addition, the formation of swelling can be influenced by many things, ranging from health problems or disrupted hormonal levels, excess weight, as well as excessive eye strain due to long work on the computer or decreased vision.

In my case, it was a combination of factors that influenced me. Sleep disturbances. Office work for 14-16 hours, often not limited to five days. Constant eye strain when working at a computer, including stubborn refusal to wear glasses when vision deteriorates. Poor nutrition and, as a result, rapid weight gain, sedentary lifestyle, which affected metabolism. Frequent and long flights, often at night, sudden climate change (from cold to warm). Well, the first age-related changes, which “pleased” me with a network of facial wrinkles and thinning of the skin with closely spaced capillaries.

Having rather capricious facial skin, the area around my eyes is normal, without any noticeable dryness or oiliness. But there is eye sensitivity and this affects general fatigue. In pursuit of eliminating the first age-related changes, I began to actively try nourishing thick creams for the area around the eyes and, as a result, I received an unpleasant picture in the form of oily and swollen eyelids. I don’t presume to say that it was the incorrectly selected care for the area around the eyes that provoked puffiness and bags, but this was precisely what became the catalyst for the problems that had previously arisen.

As a result, the problem is obvious - bags under the eyes that do not go away during the day and remain with me on an ongoing basis. I saw this in the mirror every day, no matter how I spent my leisure time.

Yes, you can ignore the problem and pretend that it doesn’t exist, covering everything with concealer. You can apply Korean patches under your eyes every day and hope for a miracle. You can try the entire line of La Mer, La Prairie, Estee Lauder, Clarins and Kiehl's, along with a bunch of organic cosmetics, and realize that nothing works. Textures that are too light do not moisturize, textures that are too nutritious make the lower eyelid even heavier, drainage products with caffeine have a short-term effect and greatly dry out the skin.

When, in addition to the bags, the swelling went lower and wen began to form above the cheekbones, I decided that something had to be done. The smell

Application.

We distribute a little gel between the fingertips and apply... patting movements will not work, just smear, fortunately the gel does not pull the skin along with it. And already at the final stage, when the gel is almost absorbed, you can pat it into the skin with your fingers.

Behavior.

Immediately after application, you feel a pleasant coolness and slight moisturizing; during absorption it is a little sticky, but the effect disappears after a few minutes when the gel is completely absorbed. It does not irritate the eyes, no negative skin reaction was noticed in this area. But there is a feeling of a film, which, after the gel dries, begins to tighten the skin - perhaps in this way the effect of lifting and smoothing the relief is achieved. Thank you, at least it doesn’t give the appearance of glossy polyethylene, the product is absolutely invisible on the skin, but the feeling of the film remains for several hours, and if you touch the skin under the eyes, the pads of your fingers glide as if... on a frozen gel.

Another problem: the gel rolls off under makeup. This is the real enemy of concealer. It’s not so relevant for men (although refreshing makeup for men is becoming increasingly popular), but this behavior came as a surprise to me. And even if you don’t apply anything on top, just rub it under your eyes to get small pellets. For a woman, the iron rule is not to touch your face with your hands; men ignore it, as practice has shown. The same thing happens if you use the gel as a serum and try to apply additional cream on top of it - even if you wait half an hour after applying the gel, it will still roll off.

Effect

... He's gone. Nothing. Zero. Zero. This is the first time that I simply have nothing to say about the results. My husband used the gel for almost six months and during this time the situation around his eyes did not visually change. After much questioning, he admitted that he likes the chill at the beginning, but he also doesn’t see the result and uses it just to finish it off.

I used it for a month and apart from a noticeable film and rolling off, I didn’t see anything. The product refreshes a little due to its cooling effect, but does not moisturize, much less nourish, does not tighten, does not remove swelling, or brightens the skin. The expression lines weren't even afraid. Perhaps he is doing something there at the cellular level and it takes more time to see the result, but I need it quickly and now. He is not even able to remove morning swelling, if any. You can, of course, say that if you didn’t use it, it would be even worse, but experience has shown that a product with such loud statements cannot cope with the task. Switching the product to night use did not give any results: the next morning I still wake up with swollen eyes.

At the time of purchase, I liked the composition: so much in one small jar. In fact, water with a gelling agent and everything else is unclear in what concentration. Probably, even at this dosage, the ingredients should do something... but they don’t.

I distribute the serum between the pads of my ring fingers and smear it over the skin around the eyes in a circular motion, going onto the moving eyelid. 15 ml of product with twice daily use (morning and evening) will last for 4-5 months, which is quite economical.

Behavior.

When it comes into contact with the skin, the serum melts and spreads very easily due to its gel-watery texture, it does not tug on the skin, and your fingers glide over it. You immediately feel a light refreshing effect and hydration. The product is absorbed in less than a minute, leaving no trace of its presence on the skin. Does not irritate the eyes even if it comes into contact with the mucous membrane and does not cause any negative skin reactions. If you overdo it with the amount, it may slide off after absorption, so it’s better to monitor the dosage. There is no feeling of film or stickiness, no skin tightness or dryness. It doesn’t conflict with subsequent care and makeup; I even thought that the serum could serve as a good primer for concealer.

Effect.

In addition to a slight cooling effect immediately after application, the serum does a good job of removing swelling - this will take from 30 minutes to an hour. If the problem is more serious, then the first noticeable changes will occur no earlier than after 2 weeks with twice daily use (morning and evening). Unfortunately, I didn't take before and after photos. The effect is not cumulative: while you are using the serum, there is no swelling, but as soon as you stop using the product, the problem returns.

Expression wrinkles become less noticeable, but this serum is unlikely to cope with a more serious situation. The skin smooths out and tightens a little, but remains the same thin, no strengthening is noticed. In the summer, light hydration from the serum was enough for me, but in winter the product cannot cope; it needs something more nourishing and deeply moisturizing to pair it with.

Dark circles, acquired from fatigue and sleepless nights, gradually lighten, but I noticed this only after a month of using the serum, although literally immediately after the first use I noticed a more fresh and rested appearance in the area around the eyes - this effect is most likely achieved due to the color of the serum and the content of illuminating particles. Serum will not cope with serious discoloration. For illustration: photo of the period of use of the product (here after about 3 months of constant use). The bags under the eyes have gone away, the skin has become lighter, but the bruise in the inner corner has not gone away, although it doesn’t bother me much - you can always cover it up with concealer, usually it’s even worse.

In general, this is an average remedy that, with long-term use, helps with a mild problem, but will not cope with a more serious situation. The ball not only effectively distributes the cream on the skin, but also massages and cools. I spend 30 seconds to 1 minute on each eye, and rub in the rest with my fingertips. That’s it, after such manipulations the cream was completely absorbed. Despite the seemingly lengthy process, from the moment you press the button until the cream is completely absorbed, no more than two minutes pass.

Due to its light texture, the cream is quickly absorbed, even if you do not use the method described above and simply apply it with your fingertips, after a minute nothing will be visible on the skin. For an untrained user who is not used to active products, as well as for those with very dry skin, the first applications will seem like hell. The cream burns the skin quite noticeably. Perhaps I would have abandoned this product after the first use, because... After application, it felt like my eyes were being burned out, but while I was trying to figure out how to wash off or wipe off the dirty trick, the burning stopped. This effect lasted for the first 4 uses, then the skin got used to it and no longer reacted.

In addition, if the cream gets into the eyes, it also burns strongly. It contains menthol, which is most likely why this behavior occurs. But if you do get something, there is no need to panic - just blot your eyes with a paper napkin. Despite such aggressiveness, the cream did not cause allergic reactions, no suspicious spots on the skin or burned corneas.

If you forget about the first unpleasant sensations and be careful in application, then the cream will not cause problems. After absorbing the cream for quite a long time, intense cooling and good hydration are felt. The cream does not make the skin of the eyelids oily, is not sticky, does not form a film or roll off. It doesn’t conflict with makeup, the concealer goes on without any problems, and the shadows don’t crease. But still, before applying makeup, it’s better to wait 10 minutes to be sure.

Effect.

This is the most intense eye cream I have ever tried. All unpleasant moments are easily forgotten as soon as you see the result. In addition to the noticeable cooling effect, which will replace an ice cube, relax and soothe the inflamed skin around the eyes (and will also affect the blood vessels), the cream moisturizes and nourishes well. For very dry skin it will most likely not be enough, but for normal to oily skin it will be enough even in winter.

The cream perfectly removes swelling and bags under the eyes. The result is noticeable within 20 minutes after application. With constant use of the cream, my eyes stopped swelling completely, and now I no longer remember the problem. I had a break between using the cream for just over a month, and during this time the problem did not return. I can’t talk about a longer period, but perhaps constant use of this cream will not be required; it can be used, for example, twice a year as intensive therapy, and the rest of the time you can switch to your usual cream to maintain the effect.

There’s this thing with lightening dark circles. The bruises did not disappear either immediately or after two weeks of use. There are no masking reflective particles in the cream; it does not lighten the skin in any way. But it works with the vessels and capillary network in the area around the eyes, so not immediately, but over time, the area under the eyes becomes lighter and looks more fresh. Therefore, if your main problem is darkening of the skin around the eyes, then this remedy is not for you; it will help more with bruises. But don’t expect a miracle; he won’t do more than what nature intended for you.

With prolonged use, another nuance was noticed: the skin becomes denser and smoother, here the peptides in the composition did not disappoint.
